Personally, I like it, just purple seems a strange choice of colour to go on the home kit
Concept kit creators are making better kits most of the time in comparison of the actual designers who are responsible for kits.

I'm betting neither of those are the kits we'll see.How reliable is this leak? Haven’t bought a home shirt for years, have been looking forward to buying the new one, but looking at this I’m not sure...
swap the white silk screen badge for the sown full color one and I'd be very happy. That is a thing of absolute beauty!
I love this! The 125 kit is wonderful

Just look at the 125 celebration year kit...relax and enjoyThe clearer photo has solidified my dislike of the shirt. It turns out all the purple backlighting for official promo shots, purple collateral for club events, and purple smoke at the parade was in fact likely meant to ease us in.
I personally just hope this is not a play to establish sky blue, purple, and white as our official colours using the goodwill created by our historic treble/quadruple season (as it is a very strange colour combination from both a design and kit history perspective). It’s probably not, of course, but that’s also what Cardiff supporters said when the rumours of their colour change started (I knew one that swore that the ownership would never be so stupid and out of touch as to do that).
I like and will probably pick up the anniversary kit, and I expect the home kit to grow on me, but this concept kit would be my all-time favorite. The shade of blue, white contrast and texture would be magnificent.Concept kit creators are making better kits most of the time in comparison of the actual designers who are responsible for kits.

Ah that makes sense. Yeah I know the 60’s ones were darker than our sky blue ones, got to say I prefer the lighter colour. The Umbro brother kits were my first introduction to City, I hated the lazer blueProbably darker.
The 68 shirt even is miles darker than the shirts we have these days.
some point in july, i would guess july 1stHave the club given an official date for release yet??
West Ham like Burnley dont have purple on their shirts..???

Rather we wore that all season as it is a thing of beauty.
Two things though if being picky, we never had white trim till the 30s, so a proper reproduction on our earliest kits would be all blue, secondly would have prefered our oldest crest rather than the present one.
