What the BBC, Mail, Sky etc, fail to comprehend is that only a very small percentage of football fans in this country actually support them; the rest dislike them intensely. Therefore, for them to treat them like it's England in a world cup final, is so wide of the mark of what the public want, it's unfathomable.

Anyway fuck the Scouse tramps and their plastic fanbase, come on spurs!
 
Every single online article or tv coverage of the build up in Madrid has Dippers being interviewed or scores of them celebrating in the background.
I haven't even heard the name of their opponents mentioned once.

I thought that was us - they've not beaten us to that title as well have they?
 
Sickening coverage spurs getting some but it’s as if they are irrelevant,I desperately want to see these fuckers done over by spurs,also would love for us to get to the final just to see if we get comparable coverage ..

Not 100% sure what it means tbh! Assumed it was glory hunters and tourist fans, of which the majority of their support is made up from. You're right though, it's what we are accused of - but they can't have it both ways, we either have no fans, or plastic fans, which is it?! Those 100,000+ at the victory parade were just a mirage.

I think the main implication being that we are all Johnny come lately's due to our recent successes.

Another astonishing lack of self awareness on their part considering how many people declare themselves as Liverpooln fans on the back of their historical successes (especially with the enormous support that they receive from outside of Liverpool / North West and throughout the rest of the world)........

It's all click based. Hate or love, news outlets don't care, as long as they get a click.

The 2 liverpool fans were trying to wind me up the other month about empty stadium and plastic fans, prior to the season finishing we played a game at home and then they brought up not being able to sell out....so in my fact based wisdom i proceeded to bring up the following :

Liverpools home game when a certain volcano erupted and stopped all in-bound flights to the uk - the attendance figure dropped to around 34k at anfield !

It stopped them dead in their tracks, not one word came back, they just looked at each other and then skulked off - hilarious
