Gloves are off (as you can clearly see our chairman saying to our owner below), and I think all blues fully support it.

City should employ the best Private Eye company in the World to dig up the Skeletons in The Swamp, Munich, Madrid and Barcelona.
Wasn't it an ex MD at the Swamp who had a passion for Call Girls.
You see where I'm going with this.

We may have access to a nation's intelligence services ;)

What ever the fans think of boycotting the champions league is one thing( I think its daft) but i can understand why some think that way. But for the players players and manager its the pinnacle. I heard a discussion on the radio about Liverpool fans swapping their season for ours and there was universal agreement that they would. However when it came to the players, especially the foreign ones it was no contest, they want the CL more than the league. I have no doubt our players would be the same.
Would you call yourself an ‘Armchair Supporter’ ?

Was a mistake on our part. Said at the time accepting any sort of santion adds legitimacy to the premise of FFP and UEFA thinking they have a right to audit a club's finances. Wish we had took them to court originally but better late then never.

We possibly took the view that FFP was not an issue for us going forward from that point. I am not even sure we oppose FFP, as such.

Maybe it’s all a big blag by City. Leak intention of going straight to CAS then sit back and watch as journalists clamour to paint us as shady.
Then just shrug our shoulders and point to the grossly unfair manner that we’re reported on.
After that CAS think we’ve got a point about Uefa being ****s and side with us.
Then we sign £300m with of players and win the World Cup.

Think I might be a bit stoned so don’t take that as gospel..
Oh. Only the one trophy then?

So there is no way that UEFA can pass their "sentence" now. They have to wait for CAS decision which could be months away. I think we have just guaranteed we will be in the CL this and next season.

I think so too...city want to be seen as part of the elite clubs , and regardless of the fans view - winning the champions league would be the last step ! Especially as we have won everything else .

Spurs for example wouldn't be considered even if they won them final and have won fk all . Their run would be remembered similar to Chelsea's in 2012 - of somehow havu g reached the finals against all odds

I would love to believe City's owners believe in an open meritocracy and equality of opportunity across football, but the cash grab for more overseas TV rights suggests otherwise. I suspect City are thoroughly in favour of FFP once City aren't under the microscope.

Sadly.

On the flip side of the same thing, it doesn't matter how City win against UEFA, people will say they've done it on a technically, they're guilty really and so on. It's just entrenched tribal stuff, and of little relevance.

If anyone had any doubts about our owner or board taking another pinch at this point regarding potential sanction from UEFA and their cohort of lickspitles who pander to the whims of the old G14. I would politely suggest they reconsider their position.
I believe this appeal has firmly drawn a line in the sand. (No pun intended). If UEFA thought they were going to ride roughshod over evidential credibility and their own decision and legal due process then I hope we are about to deliver a virtual kick in the bollocks as a polite reminder they cannot.

FFP protects us just like it does the others. ADUG will look at English football and be laughing looking at the shower of shite they are competing with at board room level. The last thing they want is the Saudi's, Qatari's etc. getting involved with their own competent project.

And FFP + English Football's Financial superiority means only PSG (massively hamstrung by French Football), Madrid and Barca can compete really. If FFP goes then you could have serious Chinese and Middle East investment in Italy.

Imagine a post-FFP world with City-esque projects at Milan, Roma, Inter, Leeds & Newcastle with Saudi's owning the rags. No thanks, I'd rather go head to head with the Glazers.

I was looking at City news and the article popped up so gave it a read - the comment section was hilarious and the statements were the usual 'broke the rules'...'arab thugs'...'oil money'

So I just registered quickly and gave a few quips back, needless to say the believe they are intelligent on Merseyside but they fail miserably

Merseyside's finest informed the world only the other day that since St Mo Salah pitched up in Liverpool the number of Islamophobia cases have plummeted.

I'm no legal expert or even a barrack room lawyer but I reckon that the outcome of litigation is largely a lottery. No lawyer worth his or her salt would ever 100% guarantee success in any legal battle as even if you feel that your side has an overwhelming case it still doesn't mean you will win.

We may well have a very strong case and UEFA might have a weak one but that doesn't mean much at this stage. Hopefully we will prevail but it's probably best not to count on it.
