Joao Cancelo

Not really said by anyone specifically. Over the course of the season from Juve fans, Serie A fans, general football fans, there aren't many considered better than him. He's one of those wingers turned fullback so he has that attack to him, but also good recovery speed and overall decent defensively.

Probably not as good as Walker defensively, but way more comfortable on the ball and better crosser than Walker.

Depends what Pep wants;

1) Defensive fullback, then go with Walker

2) Attacking fullback, then go with Cancelo

Walker and defensive fullback lol, hes getting worse at that each year. His pace is all he has, lacks concentration to be a top fullback. We can definitely do better in future.

Well it's how Pep uses him and he likes him there. Whether there are better options available to us right now is another thing.

He had a few wobbles last season, such as Palace at home, but to say “his pace is all he has” is an utterly moronic post. Pep is a pretty good judge of a player; you on the other hand have homework to finish

Yep, he can be a bit frustrating with his attacking play & final ball but his pace has saved us countless times when teams are looking to counter-attack. I thought he had a few moments earlier in the season where an odd lapse in concentration was costly but he finished the season strong for me.

His pace saves him when he is out of position alot of the time. He lacks serious concentration the most common example being he misplaces simple passes and most likley once a game one of those passes will result in a good counter attack for the other team.

Hes obviously been good since he came having been part of 2 titles but he also can't cross a ball, while its fine when hes playing a more withdrawn role it would make such a difference if we had someone who could cross a ball properly from the right hand side. Although Mendy hasnt played much you can clearly see the difference when he plays on the left attacking wise.
