I want to us to sign this lad. But let's be honest. With no imminent sale of Jesus or Sane on the horizon. I find it hard to believe we'd throw 120m at this lad in the near future.
Stuart Brennan seems to think we are only in the market for two players and none of them being attacking players.
Is City's interest in Felix genuine? I am not so sure. I feel as if Portuguese press are using our name to bump the price up like they did with Bruno Fernandes.
This one has Atletico Madrid written all over it following the sale of Griezmann. Get your money on it chaps.

That and he does have world class potential. That may not be realized, but with players like this, you either sign them early in their career and try to cultivate that potential or you pay the world for them later if they reach it.Aguero is 31 and has two years left on his deal. Silva has one year left and we may have a transfer ban next summer so we need to plan for 2020/21 then we should be buying for that season as well this summer. For that reason alone the interest in Joao Felix makes sense.

Sure, that's the ideal model, but you can't name a big club that doesn't pay for potential when a player at a mid-level club focused on developing talent steps up. It's just how it is.Or buy one cheaper.
Pep is the evidence he'll improve almost every player does. He'd replace Silva, not known for his speed.Felix maybe a world beater in time but there is no evidence that he will improve city. 120m euros is madness.
The wonderkid from Brazil pedrinho is valued at 50m euros.??? And has a lot more pace.
Bernardo replaces david and this kid from Brazil is half the price and looks twice as good.Pep is the evidence he'll improve almost every player does. He'd replace Silva, not known for his speed.
I used to think so but think Pep prefers Bernardo wide. Honestly I don't care that much, I'm relaxed leaving it to the club, seems to work out ok. It does make me smile everyone worried about fees though.Bernardo replaces david and this kid from Brazil is half the price and looks twice as good.
what does neil McNab know about pace :)Felix maybe a world beater in time but there is no evidence that he will improve city. 120m euros is madness.

Don't think we will extend Gundogan and he'll leave with Silva next summer, Pep seems to prefer Bernardo wide, after this season that leaves KDB and Foden. I agree if Sane stays we don't need him this season which is why I think we wouldn't be averse to leaving him there on loan.I keep seeing people say he will be an attacking midfielder for us...can't see that at all. If we extend Gundogan what would be the point of playing this lad there when we'd have De Bruyne, Bernardo, Gundogan, and Foden there? And that's only AFTER Silva leaves.
IMO the only chance this happens is if we sell Sane this summer, and he is 100% going to be a forward if he comes.
