I think he is a million miles away. The problem for them is Brexit cuts out some Labour voters and an even bigger problem is Tory voting remain supporters will never vote for Labour.

With the above it is impossible for Labour to attract more votes on policy alone as shown by their awful polling and by-election/EU results.

The fact is the biggest chunk of the country put in a Tory pro-Brexit government last time and they aren't going to suddenly vote for a pro-remain socialist government....

His only chance is a coalition either with the Lib Dems or the SNP but that means giving up his socialist agenda or going down as the person who signed away Scotland for a shot at power....

You're clutching at straws mate, the membership don't care about infidelity, for them a rakish reputation is an asset, as long as he's not an arse bandit, they can't be having that.
