Is it the lack or dippers and rags in every sentence that offends you? Everything there is factual, am I supposed to pretend that Utd are consistently in the top 3 wealthiest club's in the world? Am I supposed to know Liverpool's owners from the 1920s through to today?

I've been consistent in what I have said, our owner is 1 in million, the club is the best run in world football at pretty much every level. The problem is you don't make rules for the best practice, you make them to save the reckless from themselves. I see posters on here hoping Newcastle can get investment and be successful, I find that very strange. Who gives a shit about any other club doing well?

If you were Sheikh Mansour, would you invest in a club now, to spend 30 years in mid table, because you are not allowed to put in any worthwhile funding ?

Reported with relish and using terms like "booted out" doesn't do his supposed impartiality any good. At least it was mostly factual but didn't spend much time on the evidence or its provenance. Although he states the period the events refer to is 2015 and mentions that was during our agreement he doesn't mention that we were supposed to be under special supervision at this time by UEFA having our books monitored. The only other gripe I have is he STATES the email alleged other monies comes from ADUG. I wasn't aware any such email said that. There is of course that implication but one City stringently deny.

Were we getting 67.5M from Etihad back then? I thought that was much later that it went up to that kind of level.

The email will be Pearce (I think) allegedly saying His Highness will have to cover the rest - with all the debate of who that title was referring too that has already been run through.
 
Nobody except really knows what Etihads commitment was at that time so its difficult to tell but if we believe that the reported alleged content of the emails is true but question the context then the amount would be deemed as realistic and commensurate as a deal with our current status at that time.

I was aware of which email the ADUG allegation referred to but have never seen it put in print the allegation that the money was from ADUG. Most other press releases and even comment pieces have avoided the rather contentious issue of who HH is while this piece has no such reservations.

Seriously, start banning some of these publications, City wont do it but Bluemoon can. It might even send a message back to them. Or ban links to individual reporters articles. Crazy that this forum is almost an aggregator for some of this shit. Ban them, and make it known to them.
