It's Quiet 32 - enter at own risk

Pointless extension, should have just released him. No one is going to pay anything for him. Why would they? Everyone knows we want rid.

Time to draw a line under this one - let him go and let him rebuild his career. Been a terrible move for all parties. Good luck to him, he’s been totally professional in his time with us... but a terrible fit.

What is the reason? I'm not exactly counting on there being a market for a player on decent money whose played 17 games in two seasons and has had no buyers for three summers running now. He's been a professional, we should've just let him go on his way and try and rebuild his career.

No idea, but the fact people at the club extended it, I’d assume having been cleared by Txiki and Soriano, and accepted by Mangala and his people there must have been a reason that made sense. Other than gambling on getting a fee for him this summer rather than him going for nothing, I cant think of one., and maybe it was just that who knows.
What I do know is they wouldn't have done it with no reason whatsoever.

Last summer he had a serious injury,we wouldn't have extended his contract for no reason or do you think txiki is an idiot?

Has it occurred to you guys that perhaps Txiki might make a mistake every once and a while? It's ok to say it

A mistake isn’t the same as no reason though is it? Ive made many mistakes that made good sense at the time. He wouldn't just wake up one morning and get Mangala to sign a contract, then get into work a tell Soriano. These things are joint decisions .

Txiki is not a guy that never makes mistakes. He has made and will continue to make, as we all do at times. This could be one, lets see until August to know for sure.
