The Labour Party

If Johnson produces a chaotic No Deal, even Corbyn cant fail to win the following GE. Although he would probably need Sturgeon's support.
I don't think Johnson will produce a no-deal, I think he's lying through his teeth when he says he'll force it. This is all an act to get the tory membership to vote for him. The man is a complete ****.

His problem is that its almost impossible for him to secure a deal that parliament will approve. He'll end up alienating one wing of the Tory party and will need cross party support. And he's pissing in the wind if he thinks that enough Labour MPs will back him when they wouldnt back May.

Johnson might be a lying, useless ****, but he's a charismatic, lying useless **** and many Tory voters will lap up his posh buffoon persona. Several of the rabid loonies in the ERG will be worried their own support might lessen if they criticise Johnson too much. It was an issue they never had with the robotic May in charge.

All true, but i also suspect he understands full well the complete disaster that no-deal will bring, and is fully aware of what his legacy will be if that happens on his watch. The whole thing is a farce.

Williamson suspended again.

Labour are getting this issue just so badly wrong right now its untrue.

At a time when we need a strong opposition they’re acting like a fucking circus.

Make way for the Liberal Democrat’s you useless fuckers.

"This has been the dream that has sustained the Liberal Party for so many long, weary years. And now, at last, we have the reality in our grasp. We must have the nerve and courage not to let it slip.
Mr President, I have the good fortune to be the first Liberal leader for over a half a century who is able to say to you at the end of our annual assembly: go back to your constituencies, and prepare for government."

Steel got a 4 minute standing ovation for that. The Labour Party was in turmoil, riven with in-fighting on every side; a leader incapable of bringing the warring factions together, The SDP-Liberal Alliance stood ready. And won a grand total of 23 seats in the '83 election. The strong opposition needs to come from Labour; and until they get rid of the voting system that brought the party to its metaphorical knees through the election of Corbyn, that, sadly, ain't happening. He's electoral thallium.

Unrecognisable from the party that won three elections in a row. Blairite is now the authorised highest form of abuse by a cabal of seventies Marxist throwbacks who care nothing for democracy or the country but only about revenge on their predecessors. Williamson is exactly what they are about.

Marxist throwbacks? Care nothing for democracy? Care nothing for the country? Explain these to me please.

Do you ever wonder why the term Blairite is a term now used in a way to describe the neo-liberal elite that were allowed to take over the party? So what, Labour won 3 elections under Blair, each with less votes and he ruined the chance to change the country after the ravages of Thatcherism, he took us to war and cost the lives of many brave British lads out of some vainglorious vanity.

The treatment of Williamson is wrong headed, he is being used as a scapegoat to sate the media whose constant slurs about anti Semitism have sullied the real concerns we should all have about the treatment of all minorities. The very same media who ignores the blatent Islamaphobia of the Tory party, and the obnoxious casual racism of the likes of Farage and his cohorts.

Are you not at the least bit concerned that the country is now being run by a cabal of super rich media owners, who bend the narrative to suit their own agenda? The vilification of Corbyn at every turn by these cunts should gladden the hearts of the working class, it shows they are scared of him, they know they will have to pay their rightful share of the tax burden. They care about their pockets, not about working class issues.

We are in the "shout louder" era of political debate and the media on the right have the biggest voices, its only the Morning Star and to some extent the Mirror that supports Corbyn, the rest are in thrall to the capitalists. the very people who brought the country to its knees in 2008, yet have survived uncensured and still of wealth, whilst the many are left behind, in a country of foodbanks, zero hours contracts, homelessness and poverty. Its a disgrace that the 6th largest country by GDP has foodbanks and children going hungry whilst the idle super rich get special treatment from the likes of you.

The 2011 referendum didn't really demonstrate a huge appetite on the part of the voters for electoral reform. I'm not sure why that would change in the forseeable future. Unfortunately we're stuck with the existing system for decades to come.

There are many, many things wrong in our country and the capture of the Labour Party by trade union backed Marxists is among the worst of them. By making my party unelectable it's the likes of you not me giving the Tories full rein to fill their friends pockets at the expense of our public services and standard of living.

And there are a good number of traditional/long-standing Labour voters on here that think exactly the same way

If we are a reflection of the UK electorate - then Labour will continue to miss the opportunity because we far out-number the 'purists'

Their best chance is a protest vote by sufficient numbers that do not understand the threat

I was referring to how the Labour Party vote in their leader. Ed Milliband set in stone a system that is weighted to the hard left, unionist wing. And was duly elected Labour leader by the "members". As was Corbyn. Sadly, neither was nor will ever be voted in by the people that matter: the public.

How much would it cost to feed a child in the UK each day with a healthy, nutritional meal?

I bet Jamie Oliver could tell you.

But seriously yes I agree - the fact that kids go to school hungry and that parent need food banks in this country is a fucking disgrace. I have heard people say its only a minority of kids who get no breakfast before school like thats an excuse and of course Raab said people who use food banks are "just having a temporary cashflow problem" like they are a business and its ok.................fucking state of this country - I'd trust Jamie Oliver to fucking run it more than the twats at the moment and his businesses are going bust hand over fist !!!

The party is not unelectable, that's just what you choose to believe.

And because you choose to believe that, it's not your party.

The majority of those who believe that do so because they are told that - the same way they are told that the Brexit Party are a viable force to govern the country - given Fromage's GE record they won't gain enough seats to run Blackpool Pleasure Beach.........
