It's not just Woodward though. He is just a cog in a machine that is basically not fit for purpose. As we all know -and have done for many years- the Glazers care only for profit margins. On the pitch they could all be playing tennis as far as the Glazers are concerned, just as long as the lemmings keep handing over their money they couldn't give two fucks what happens outside of the boardroom. And it is this total indifference about what goes on once the players have crossed the white line that will eventually drag the entire club down.
Watching that 'All Or Nothing' on Prime the other night and it struck me just how different our owners are compared to the Glazers. The Sheik and his representatives take an active interest in all things club related. They showed genuine concern when players were injured, they spoke at length about tactics, formations, and even the day-to-day running of the club. The entire atmosphere within the club is one of harmony and unison - the changing room when even Pep was raucously singing along with "You're top of the league" to Raz.
And how at a press conference when a journalist had a sly dig at Stones because it took him a while to settle. Pep said something along the lines of 'He is a better man than any of you'. I thought how fucking different to Maureen who was only to happy to throw his players under the bus.

The rags are in a very precarious state at the moment. This season could see an implosion never before witnessed in English football.

It doesn’t matter who they sign. Such is the mess of the entire structure, it’s not an environment any new player is going to thrive in.

They are self destructive, it’s a matter of time. If they don’t restructure themselves operationally then the slide will continue. In the next 2 to 3 seasons they will conceivably be a mid table team.

All the turnover in the world will be irrelevant because sustaining it will become to challenging as they get less and less successful.

Personally I think they are right on the brink. Going out signing players is not where the work is, or certainly not the main bit, it’s all behind it.

That would be superb. Imagine if the cünts were relegated, while paying the league's highest wage bill. Just need de Gea to have a shit season and they're fucked. Horrible bastards.

Let's hope so.
What has happened to our club and theres is more than we ever dreamed in the last 8 years or so.
I have a feeling it's not even the start yet

Nobody does big name expensive flops quite like Manchester United. They’re in a league of their own in that regard. Di Maria,
Schweinsteiger, Sanchez, Lukaku, Pogba all within the last few years have gone there for big money on big contracts with their fans expecting them to be their saviour and all have failed miserably. Long may it continue.

Oh the days when Schweinsreiger made his debut as a sub and they were racing about him because he did some pointing. Apparently, that was him showing his ‘experience’ - they should have watched McMananman when he was with us to see where that gets you!

Not to mention managers contracts/pay offs,
Rooneys contract and the Glazers syphoning money out. Too big to fail? Perhaps not...

I think as poor as the rags latest signings may be they are a large step up from the dross they have replaced.
The rags will improve with the players they have signed.

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn’t. I’ve no idea
But what I do know is that no player can become world class without suitable coaching, a workable system and players around him to compliment his skill set - look at KDB and Sterling under Pelligini, for example. That’s before we even get into the success rate of buying players from Portugal. Anderson was supposed to be the next best things. Remember Helder Postiga. Even the likes of Simao and Nani didn’t get to the heights that they were initially expected to reach

Who?

Let’s not forget their big money loan move for Falcao. Another major fail to add to the list.
