"Manchester City smashed their club record transfer fee this week to land midfielder Rodri for a fee of around £62.3million.

He is one of an expected group of new additions to be joining Pep Guardolia’s side over the summer as they look to mount a challenge to dethrone Liverpool as the European Champions next season.

City have yet to make it past a Champions League semi-final but will be eager to go all the way next season and they will be hoping that their new defensive midfielder can be the player to help them do it."

Glorious history! But mention Heysel and it's dodgy wall, crap stadium, shit security, six of one, half a dozen of the other.

Amazing they can't stop babbling six times, recalled and recounted ad infinitum, but Heysel has mysteriously fallen in to collective Merseyside memory loss.

Surely you missed out a final paragraph something along the lines:
Meanwhile Liverpool will be desperate to become champions of England otherwise it will be an embarrassing THIRTY years since they last won this title.

All I remember about this years CL final was a Liverpool player chipping the ball at a player arm, a dubious penalty and thereafter the worse game of football I have ever witnessed.

Given how shitty LFC can be (Diving, snowy pitches, moaning about opposition etc), what's the betting that Klopp has already got his forwards practising crossing the ball into the defenders arm.

I seriously doubt Pep would try to exploit that negatively like Klopp, that's the difference between the two...
