The Labour Party

Yet he has succeeded in moving the Overton window leftwards. He may not be the man to take the LP forward, but he has paved the way for a future leader who can and will promote a Socialist Labour Party rather than the old centrist Blairite version.

My take on it is similar, Jeremy was necessary to bring labour back to it's purpose, to be a left wing socialist party , now it is time for him to hand over the reigns to someone else who can continue without the baggage he has collected upon himself

He won’t be handing over the reigns to anyone and this is the issue right now.

Momentum call all the shots and they couldn’t give a rats arse about anyone not in their gang.

Your are missing the point. He has paved the way for a lot of things and most of them work against Labour gaining an overall majority.

In terms of paving the way - you could also argue Ed Miliband did similar, he took the party down a less popular / more extreme path where better leaders were on teh ticket although the perception of being centrist and that being a bad thing led to the election of a poor leader.

I think what will be key is leave Tory voters and the brexit party working together in marginal seats to defeat what will be remain parties working in a similar fashion.
That's not happening in the Brecon and Radnor by-election, Tory, BP and UKIP all standing while Plaid Cymru and the Greens are backing the LibDems and not fielding a candidate.

Saw it earlier on the news and it’s sound policy for the remain parties to have.

Breaking from the BBC - this isn’t good!

Senior Labour figures have interfered in the disciplinary process of dealing with accusations of anti-Semitism, ex-party officials have told the BBC's Panorama.

Seumas Milne, one of Jeremy Corbyn's closest aides, told officials the party was "muddling up political disputes with racism" and must review processes.

And General Secretary Jennie Formby attempted to interfere in who sat on a panel examining a high-profile case.

Makes sense in by elections but very difficult for them to co-ordinate in a general election.

I think they are aiming for 100 key marginal seats out of 650 and even that number they admit is going to be tough and of course still not guaranteed to be successful.

I’d be very surprised if it’s anything like that number. More like 25-50. I expect there will be a huge amount of churn of MPs with incumbent labour and Tory mps in marginal seats losing out. But in most seats the effect of the bp and libdems will be be to make seats switch from Tory to labour and vice versa. Once the musical chairs stop the overall parliamentary arithmetic won’t be much changed

Utter shocking this panorama programme, what a bunch of cunts momentum are.
Excuses, defences and reverse attacks.

It's not like this is outsiders making these claims, it's Jewish members of the party themselves!

But no, damn those slanderous Tories!

"So, how much antisemitism do you want in the Labour Party?"

Labour: "Yes"

Third way blairites these young people who were children when Blair was around and joined labour over the last few years.
