It's nothing to do with Amazon Prime. Unless your TV is an LG Smart TV or an Android TV then you can't watch it. If you have an Amazon Fire device, Roku device, Android box or an Apple TV box then you can watch on those.

Thanks. I can't be bothered getting any more devices or apps. I have got SKY, BT, Amazon, Netflix the bloody lot and spend half my life on Bluemoon. I reckon Mrs Quiff will divorce me if I get anything else related to football!

You can get BBC2 in colour I believe.

Finally dug up my Roku and was able to find and install the app.

Now, getting it to run... that is an ongoing struggle.

Is the friendly stream appearing in the app for anyone?

No sign of it in mine. But, then again, there’s also no option for me to subscribe to premium, so if that is required to watch the friendlies, I suppose I am out of luck.

Prime TV is an app it doesn't include City Tv but if you are able to install Prime then Man City maybe available in your TV's app store What the make of Tv?

I think City will have only signed up to certain platforms atm.

No doubt there has been a lot of contractual negotiations going on behind the scenes before City TV was launched.

Without doubt. We used to answer calls and emails regarding the ITV Player/Hub before they took it in house and there's an enormous amount of work required to support these apps on various platforms. We used to have so much fun when Samsung updated their software every year which instantly killed the Player. How I miss all of those abusive calls because they couldn't access 'I'm a Celebrity...' that they'd 'paid for'. The emails would run into the (literally) thousands.

ill wait until this is iOS compatible. Can’t believe they didn’t launch this on phone apps, seems like a wasted opportunity. I’d watch the hell out of this app if I could use it on my phone

It only runs every sixth attempt to open it for me.

It either crashes to the Roku ‘home’ menu or crashes the Roku OS entirely (causing the Roku to reboot) the other attempts.
