That may be because our players are finely balanced athletes who can stay on their feet while being hacked. They on the other hand find a use for lead-footed lumps with inner-ear problems.
 
£50m bid by Inter for the lump rejected...FFS what's going on? Money or not Inter should be doing the one year loan with buy option....works on all levels, no money for the rags, part wage payment and the lump gets to return at the end of the season.

It would be hard for them to top the helping hand they got last season, dodgy penalties, soft free kicks outside the area, penalties not given against them and the ability of avoiding red card offences most games and they still messed it up.
Guess it depends who the PL are backing this time, do they ensure Liverpool still get everything like last season or will they give some other team a leg up to ensure a different name is on the trophey
