When you say you have IPTV, what do you mean? Do you have another box with IPTV app on it or is it just installed on your tv's?I have multiple other than fire stick, have apple box but it’s pre 4, so that out.... have. Samsung smart tv, and a LG one where the magic happens (spare room lol).. IPTV as well...
Man City for TV is available for free on connected devices, including Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV Stick. It is also currently available on LG and Sony TVs, with more compatible platforms being released very soon.
As it happens it’s not available on my LG although it is a few years old.
I’m watching it through a fire stick .
Watched a couple of the Women’s documentaries , quite good.

I have a Sony TV, but i've a feeling they specifically mean Android Sony TV's as that's what i have and it works on there. I think Sony also have their own OS and their app store and its probably not on there yet.Can anyone with a Sony TV advise. I can see the Apps section but the city app is not there. Do I have to load it on one of my devices before it shows on the TV?

Try this on your LG TV (its specific to 2013 but may work for you)It’s an app within the smart tv
If you have a Google Play Store on your TV then you have an Android TV, i think Sony do their own OS as well and that won't have the playstore.I have just installed the app on my Sony tv. You will need to have a google account (which can be done within the tv settings menu), then check into google play app (which should already be within the installed apps on the tv).
Download the app and the install onto the tv was all very straightforward. Log into the man city app with your registered email/supporter number and password and follow the instructions.
Hope this works for you.
Assume you've searched on the play store? I needed to search something like 'Manchester Cty' to find it..I’ve got a Sony Android TV but can’t find the app. It’s over two years old though.
A nudge in the right direction would be much appreciated:)
