Mass brawl on cruise ship over a "clown"

Several people were reportedly injured after a violent brawl broke out aboard the P&O cruise ship Britannia over an onboard clown

passengers used furniture and plates as weapons in the brawl, while other cruise-goers frantically took cover and attempted to hide

One witness, part of a group involved in the trouble, explained to staff that things kicked off when another passenger appeared dressed as a clown. This upset one of their party because they’d specifically booked a cruise with no fancy dress. It led to a violent confrontation.
Fair play. Although that'll probably set back David Moyes' new career.

We were on Brittania for a week last month and despite a large number of pesky kids on there (because they had an offer where kids travelled with adults for £1) we saw no issues with drink.. it was our 13th cruise too... we have noticed that they have started to attract people from all walks of life but if you want exclusivity then you need to go upmarket e.g. Seabourn

Can you imagine the booking process.

“So sir is there any particular Cruise ship you would like to sail on”

“No fancy dress”

“Sorry? You mean you don’t want to have to dress up for Dinner”

“No I mean no fancy dress”

“You want it casual then”

“No I just don’t want any Saddam Hussain’s, Donald Trumps or The Queen outfits and whatever you do, don’t put me on the same fucking ship as a clown”

Wasn't this guy, was it?
