That Dipperpool Echo is an absolute joke, it's unashamedly juvenile and some of their football headlines are akin to the Sunday Sport who used to have headlines like, London Bus found on the moon with pic attached... The best thing is, the average dipper thinks all it prints is gospel .... :-)
Big seller in Scandinavia?

Unless Goalkeepers put the ball in their own net,I don't see how Dippers can challenge us.Yes you cannot underestimate anyone and everyone starts on zero, but with all the luck they had with calls and fuck ups, having same thing again looks tough. So I assume we will be fine.

Really does seem the wheels are coming off more and more this pre-season. Here’s hoping it gets worse over the coming months.
I also see Van Dicky is slowly going public with issues with Klopp so that’s Funny.

The more it goes on the more it seems that last year really was shit or bust for them.
What’s VVD said?

If and when you can stop laughing after reading this headline, please feel free to post.

Richard Jolly, Liverpool Echo.

JURGEN KLOPP HAS CHANGED PEP GUARDIOLA FOREVER
LFC Stories: Pep Guardiola has had to adjust his style in response to Jurgen Klopp
Judging from the end of the season, presumably the change was 'win even more'.

On the basis that we pick up where we left off last year, everyone else must be shitting it already.

The best PL season anyone had previously ever had by a country mile, achieved thanks to a critical mass of favourable decisions, bizarre goalkeeping flukes and advantageous balance regarding key injuries and it still wasn’t enough to beat either of our last two years’ totals.
Let that sink in.

They threw everything at us bar the kitchen sink (as it’s currently installed in Jurgen’s mouth), and it all just bounced off.

The amount of misinformation and distortion emanating from Liverpool is astounding.

The Echo is a medium for bias and bile, not just silly young reporters trying to make a name for themselves with shock stories akin to a bear landing on Pluto but gormless ex players like Aldridge trying to ingratiate himself with fans.

Klopp`s nonsense has been growing for some time. Only Aguero missing in pre-season he said. Another misleading angle, yet no one in the press conference had the knowledge or will to correct him that 7 main players did not take part with the rest of the City squad.

He is though good at encouraging coach `welcomes` whilst the apparent complicit Liverpool police lend their vans
and the club do nothing as `fans` are allowed free reign.

Now Klopp is raising an issue of his owner`s lack of investment in the squad. Samuel has quickly and rightly rebuked this in a good piece today.

We all need to continue to challenge and correct the distortions and present the facts.

to many chickens being counted on this thread, lets just wait and see how we all start, have i mentioned i fuckin hate scousers.
Agree with your sentiments mate. It's down to us to never let up on the intensity - that's what the Peps of this world do.

As a fan though, I do allow myself the occasional (!) luxury of testing the oppo's resolve when there is an air of sheer insurmountability to be leveraged.

If they rise to the occasion, they will have deserved it, competition and quality levels will increase and football wins.
I'm sure everyone recognises that I'm actually doing the league a huge favour...

Another gem Today from the Liverpool Echo.

Apparently City are in......

Unrest, disappointment, minnows and how Man City's pre-season gives Liverpool hope ahead of Community Shield
Liverpool's pre-season campaign has not exactly gone to plan but Manchester City haven't had it all their own way either

Are we facing Barcelona 2009 on Sunday? Not some team who couldn’t lay a glove on us at Anfield and we out footballed at the Etihad?

Lads it's the liverpool echo what do you expect!!?? So why care?

Personally I think it's encouraging the amount of talking klopp is doing. Not exactly quiet confidence is it?
