I’m trying to imagine Boris Johnson stood up at a podium taking the evangelical approach. Theresa May was a devout christian but she never used it in the wake of a tragic event, otherwise she’d have been booted out sooner. I’m not someone who is hostile towards religion but at a time when 30 odd people have been murdered I would want the government to be proactive.
