That's quite a list of random things to have come up with in 1 day.

I note an absence of "stop people having assault rifles". But it'll be fine if the people with them stay away from social media, and don't carry signs saying "I am a grave risk of going postal".

As Donald Trump ran for the presidency in 2016, Jeffrey Epstein, the pedophile financier, told a mutual acquaintance that he had compromising – or at least embarrassing – photographs of the candidate taken some years earlier. He showed them to this man who, three years later, described them for Cockburn as ‘sort of sexy, sort of suggestive’.


‘Jeffrey had a set of these pictures that had been taken, probably 2003, 2004, of Trump with a variety of the same girls that Jeffrey got in trouble for. They’re vaguely suggestive, but not overtly sexual. I think maybe in one picture a girl was sitting on his lap. There’s a picture in which he has a stain on the front of his pants, a potentially embarrassing stain, and the girls are pointing at it and laughing. That’s what I remember. There were maybe a dozen of these pictures.’

Would it make any difference if these pictures were released? Trump has reached demigod status with his base already he'd probably make a wise crack like he did over the pussy grabbing comments and they would just lap it up as the Don liking them young and fresh.

The last election was finely balanced. The next is hugely unpredictable.

If the Epstein court case is rumbling on over the next 12 months and these pictures come out. I'd say yes it will have an impact. Trumps base don't read things - but pictures! If they start circulating with him and underage girls and his friend goes down as a peado then that could put a massive dent in his campaign.

One might think this; it's certainly logical.

But looking at the dark underbelly of Trump's supporters, there are a frighteningly large number of people already claiming -- for example -- that these most recent shootings were actually carried out by Antifa then pinned on white supremacists, complete with a false manifesto in El Paso's case (despite the fact that the shooter is in custody) hurriedly put together and released by police complicit with the Antifa movement. Claims of "eyewitnesses" to a "second shooter" in Dayton; claims that the "orchestration" of three shootings similar in time cannot be chance, but a plan to discredit and destroy Trump and the 2A movement.

I can't stress this enough -- NOTHING will shift his hardest core base. Nothing.

Democrats must win in 2020 with turnout. You cannot expect Trump to self-destruct electorally. He won't.
