1. Admitting Liverpool were a nothing club before Shankley
2. Talks about how everyone should have the chance at getting rewards but does he not understand that Liverpool were part of the group of clubs who tried to monopolise both English and European football for themselves? by keeping most of the TV money for themselves in a small group of clubs and having the same teams qualify for Europe keeping even more money between the same few clubs - real socialism that!
3. Flaunting privilege in the faces of the less well off is all Liverpool fans do
4. “going to Anfield, it’s a hospitable place” hahahahahahahahahaha... where to start? From cowards hiding behind trees+bushes in Stanley Park, jumping out, slashing the arses and hamstrings of opposing fans; to smashing windows of supporters coaches; to racist abuse aimed at black players (Tom Adeyemi and Patrice Evra to name but a few); to demonstrations where missiles are thrown at visitor team coaches; to bitterly booing Raheem Sterling...
5. Why has all the blame for Hillsborough been taken away from Liverpool fans, surely all those fans who went without tickets are 50% to blame?
6. 1989 was 30 years ago, not 40.
7. Liverpool has the oldest African community in the country because the city was built on and was pro-AtlanticSlaveTrade.
8. Fucking hell, no wonder they’re all so deluded, they’re religious too!
9. And the funny thing about all this is that about 75% of all Liverpool fans aren’t Scousers, so none of it applies to them!

Treated Shankly like a leper when he resigned, banned him from hanging around the training ground (so the story goes ), You'll never walk alone until you drop a bollock or walk out on them and then you'll get roasted by club and fans. Sterling showed up most of those bastards at Wembley . One of their greatest players, Keegan, never gets a mention yet he set them on the road to success in the 70's. All this 'believe' shit and cult behaviour has only come about in the last 20 years i'd say, before that they were ok in my book

When you have all that domination they had in the 70s and 80s taken away by poor planning and letting players stay too long it must be a bitter pill to face when you aren’t top dog anymore. Same with the rags, they both took it for granted and expected they could keep going and remained unchallenged.

Now both groups of fans celebrate a corner of it’s the second coming and get giddy. I’m looking forward to another season of crushing both of them into the ground. Their pain and bile they spout about us tells us everything we need to know. Little old City are causing them pain and anguish.

I am a little bit confused. Lfc fans boo the national anthem because the british government cut them off and cast them adrift. Yet no-one else in the impoverished north appears to boo the national anthem despite historically being treated the same. Im pretty sure those north of the liverpool manchester line arent delihted about the focus on their regions. Typical 'oh poor us but we keep smiling' scousers...

they are a really weird breed for sure. if you dare disagree with them on social media etc they try to hunt you down and set up fake accounts etc. i had an argument with one the other day about the fight on the tube video. they get so indignant if someone dares challenge them. luckily i live in the south now as i used to spend most of my days thinking of if i killed one of them how could i dispose of the body and would i get away with it.

Yes I've had the odd run in online, I know it's surprising that lol. Of course I had a few more personal face to face ones in the seventies and eighties.

So, they booed the national anthem because of the 1845 potato famine and because a majority of their fellow countryman voted to leave the EU?

In hindsight I don't know why I couldn't work that out for myself at the time!

Edit: On the whole Liverpool wanted to remain thing 58.2% voted remain, clearly a bigger majority than the rest of the country but hardly an overwhelming majority.

And what about other areas of Liverpool, do they not allow fans from the areas below to support them?

District Leave Remain
St Helens 58% 42%
Halton 57.4% 42.6%
Warrington 54.3% 55.7%
Knowsley 51.6% 48.4%
Cheshire West and Chester 50.7% 49.3%
Wirral 48.3% 51.7%
Sefton 48.1% 51.9%
Liverpool 41.8% 58.2%

How dare you put Warrington in a Liverpool area, Warrington is fuck all to do with Liverpool or Merseyside, and never has been.

Don't you bump into more of them in the south?

Probably and sometimes they are the worst type as they assume you support them. They are weird though as they fill up the pubs to watch them play the rags, arsenal, chelsea etc but don't understand the Everton rivalry. If I get in conversation with them I usually say I go more to Anfield as an away fan than they ever will. I work for a red but he is from liverpool and we never discuss the game really.

For roughly 200 years Liverpool was a rock-solid Conservative stronghold! In fact when the Liverpool & Manchester Railway opened in 1830 the Tory Liverpool MP William Huskisson was run over by Stephenson's Rocket on the opening day and died at Eccles that evening. Manchester didn't even have an MP then, and wasn't to get one until 1832, not having had one since 1660.
Oliver Cromwell had given Manchester its first MP during his time as Lord Protector but with the death of Cromwell, the ineptitude and reluctance of his son Richard to rule and the subsequent Restoration of the Monarchy when Charles II took to the throne in 1660 republican Manchester lost its MP while Liverpool's MP Gilbert Ireland was knighted!
Considering they're the 'istree club if you ever get into a discussion with them about the history of their actual city they're not so forthcoming! Seems that like the club (didn't win the FA Cup until 1965), their left-wing history is a relatively recent thing, only dating back to the early 1970s.
