Actually, there was an incident where a Black guy was chasing a White guy in the States.

The Black gets gunned down by cops getting involved in the pursuit and despite the Black guy shouting that the perp was running ahead of him, he was taken out.

Cops searched him out found a cop ID badge.

So, yeah, the chances of being murdered-whilst-Black when trying to do the 'right thing' is high.
 


This has been going on but I have a feeling it's only going to get worse. Once we get into election season it's going to get A LOT worse. I expect to see these guys at polling places, rallies and pretty much anywhere else they can go to intimidate minorities who are politically active.

Of course if the minorities decide to show up armed the police will just kill them...

There was another one where a black security guard apprehended a shooter at a bar. When the cops showed up he was still holding the shooter down so the cops killed him.

That is fucked up.

How does anyone know if he's trained how to use that fucking thing? Or is it just assumed that if he's white then he'll be fine. Do cops routinely check (white) people who carry openly, even in states where it's legal?

If that happened in this country, or anywhere else that isn't a war-zone, then there'd be a major incident.

I wonder what his politics is...?

Seen quite a few videos showing such people carrying so openly/brazenly simply to make a point/raise awareness about their rights, which almost inevitably leads to numerous law enforcement officers descending on the scene and the atmosphere becoming increasingly fraught. Seems a complete waste of already stretched resources, and I doubt many Americans are so unaware of their 2A rights as to need such reminding.

There’s a difference between a shotgun and the kind of arsenals on display in some of the thread’s videos.

In Ireland you need permission from a land owner to shoot on his land to get a permit for a shotgun.

Canadians do a lot of, well... actual hunting and they’re not batshit crazy.

It really is hard to workout where America’s problems are, isn’t it?

I understand hunting rifles (single bolt action manual feed or low capacity magazine fed) and shotguns, and SA pistols to a degree, but how the actual f*ck are assault rifles with 100-round magazines legal?

Who seriously needs an assault rifle for a start? And a 100-round magazine - WTAF? Obviously unless they intend to lay down indiscriminate rounds at a high rate of fire, such as people with murderous intent.
 
I read something a good few years ago from Jeremy Clarkson where he said he could not understand the American aversion to people smoking when it wasn't seen odd to want to own a fully armed helicopter gunship

I know a girl from Dayton, Ohio (through work) who has a concealed carry licence, and she regularly has a weapon on her. She's not allowed to take it into her place of work, so she just leaves it in her car. I just don't understand it.
