Who should take penalties if Haaland is not on the pitch?

Kev missed the only one he ever took for us in an actual game. Jesus has also missed 2 out of 6 for us. He also missed one for Brazil in the summer.

For all the dozens of people who keep saying De Bruyne should take them....have none of you ever wondered why a 28 year old has only taken 1 penalty in club football in a 13 season long career?

Despite being a senior figure at Werder Bremen, Wolfsburg and City, the only time he has ever volunteered to take one is in the Everton game in Pep's first season after Aguero missed his.

If a player as good as KDB has played 401 professional games and only taken 1 penalty, it's because he's not interested in taking them.

On top of that, for the past 2 games that were going to penalty shootouts, Pep's taken him off just before the end of the game, which is not something you do to a good penalty taker.

It's amazing how we have so many good players but I'm still not confident any of them would bury it. Maybe Ederson only would make me feel calm.

Gundogan wanted to take the first one yesterday but Aguero obviously said no...he took it and it was shite but the 2nd one took some balls and he buried it

Franny Lee had the right approach. He said he chose a corner, never changed his mind no matter what the keeper did, kept it low and hit it as hard as possible. Aguero's first yesterday was awful. It was the sort of penalty a father takes against his kid. Half hearted, no power or intent behind it. I didn't know he had missed his last three before yesterday until the commentator mentioned it.

Franny hit the ball so hard that a lot of goals just cannoned into the net even when the keeper touched it. Sometimes it looked as if he was blasting it straight at the keeper to injure them!

True I think the keeper's crapped it he hit them so hard.

Kev for me. Feel Gundogan doesn't have the best technique to take them regularly
dosent have best teqnique to take regulary??
disagree completly.
Wouldnt be on the pitch regularly enough would be my concern, great striker of thd ball.

Oh for Mario couldnt be safe near a box of matches but deffo taking a pen I am one of those who cant bare to watch a penalty or even worse penalties I sat with fingers in my ears in my bedroom last week and against Gillingham i did the same enduring the old Wembley rancid stinky bogs But nothing of the sort with Mario it was taking candy from a baby. imho as much as love Serg the trust to take pens is diminishing each time he misses and he will lose confidence
