Penalty Taker

Who should take penalties if Haaland is not on the pitch?

IMO in decisive penalties in playoff or crucial Premier League games, we have to try Gundogan or De Bruyne, maybe Silva.

In easy games or almost certain winner, Aguero can do to help him in the battle to be the top scorer. Barca did it last season, Suarez scored penalty goals even Messi being the penalty taker.

I still have nightmares over the last pen David Silva took. I reckon Eddie should step up - until he kills someone in the Family Stand or the South Stand with a thunderbolt that goes wide or high!

I might be wide of the mark but I suspect that Aguero might have an agreement whereby he takes the penalties if he’s on the pitch.
Star players often have that agreed because it keeps their goal tally / stats up and adds to their reputation.
The rags must have such an agreement with Pogba because his stats would plummet from looking decent to mediocre without the goals he gets from pens.

I would love to see Ederson take a few penalties, where the result isn't in doubt and if he excels at it, give him a shot at being the regular taker(has any other topflight club done that?) but the media would turn it into a mark of disrespect.
