Speaker weighing in
Hammond not impressed
‘It would be a constitutional outrage if Parliament were prevented from holding the government to account at a time of national crisis. Profoundly undemocratic.’

Correct in the main, but what I'm illustrating is that these extremists will only be heard & listened to because of support from misguided moderates.I share your concerns about a general lurch to the right in western politics at present. I'm slightly more relaxed about it as I view this as cyclical, and no worse really than the Thatcher /Reagan period in the 80's. I don't think the comparison with 1930's nazi era Germany bears comparison, and the problem with 'crying nazi' all the time is that it devalues the significance of the term. I feel in general you throw the term around a little too casually at folk who are quite possibly a bit unpleasant and right wing, but perhaps do not bear comparison with Adolf Hitler.
Yesterday’s man who had his chance.
No one cares what he thinks any longer.
Thing with playing games in Parliament to frustrate is there are always others that are equally adept at playing the ****.
This mornings news is welcome and what is needed to finally get us out of the EU.
The £ plunged on the announcement by the self styled "party of business " led by this "one nation Tory". We will be the next Bury FC - snapped up by some carpet bagger for £1 - probably a dollar or euro as they will be worth more by then - to wring the last bit of cash out of the country before we lock up the gates and are closed down for good. Johnsons reputation will be worse than his predecessors which in itself will be no mean feat.
Taking your ball home because you can't win, isn't playing the game.Predictable response from a man who was in on the games his side was playing yet is now throwing his toys from the pram as the other side plays theirs.
Johnson cares otherwise he wouldn’t be attempting to suspend Parliament. Hammond, Soubry all have a vote and that vote is something Johnson is running from.

I don't think they care about changing minds.Germany, Nazis, fascists, far right, extremism.
You lot still haven’t grasped the concept that slurs and insults simply will not change minds or work.
Amazing isn’t it all the plotting yesterday and schemes to stop brexit all fine
Today the prime minister responds and it’s an outrage and an affront to democracy.
And as far the stopping brexit gang yesterday what is the actual proposal to actually end this nightmare. None. Nothing. Just throwing rocks.
