Good shout that.there was a two page spread when he died,in a tabloid a few years ago.....manchester utds brian greenhoff blah blah.....two pages of basically nothingness,cos he won nothing,did nothing,and utd were nothing whilst he played for them...

As other's have alluded to Lingard in the squad is the biggest mistake Southgate has made. Would have preferred Foden, Nelson, Gibbs-White or Cantwell over him.

Memory may be playing tricks, but I remember a City v Leeds game at Maine Road. Leeds didn't cross the half way line throughout the 90 minutes. I was sat in the scoreboard end because I'd broke my ankle playing 5 a side in the morning (stop waffling ) . Greenhoff scored an own goal in the final minutes of one of the most boring matches I have ever seen. Bit like this post.

Fucking him off now Var is here so he can’t do his normal wrestling and shirt tearing from every single set piece as the refs may spot 1 in every 10 he commits now with Var if Alti Taylor isn’t on Var duty. Remember after their easy start to the season last year (or year before) all rags were telling us him and Jones are the future CB pairing for England
