My mate @6TIMES has been banned already?????????

I still didn't get chance to tell him how arrogant his forum name is / was........

@squirtyflower what was the straw that broke the camel's back on this one? ;-)

6 times, number of occasions he has been to work or been inside being a dipper.

that was the obvious, thinly veiled insinuation in that post.
The implication there is clear that there is some connection between the sheik’s duties in his own country and his role as head of Adug, which is his sole relationship with City through the CFG.
There is no connection, and that is a matter of public record, had even the slightest bit of research been done.

Exactly.

And nothing. I am well aware of opinions on this board and the reaction to comments or questions about your owner/s, and am not looking to get into a dispute of any kind.
We have one owner Sheik Mansour, so there's no need for the /s bullshit, so you very much are wanting to get into a dispute, and for that, like many of your predecessors you can do one.

OMG. You’ve just created another misunderstood, innocent victim. On your head be it, but we’ll all suffer.

Tell us about FSG and their owners.

FSG was founded in 2001 as New England Sports Ventures (NESV) when John W. Henry joined forces with Tom Werner, Les Otten, *The New York Times* Company, and other investors

Every since John Henry & Co bought Liverpool, John Henry & Co decided to take City on *off* and on the pitch.

Why? Why has Henry in his foolish wisdom decided to take on Sheikh Mansour and ADUG off the pitch?

He and his partners have constantly attacked City, and have been instrumental along with United and Arsenal in pushing for and using FFP to try and stop City.

It’s no coincidence that the NYT went big recently on City, FFP, and UEFA. The vast majority of Americans wouldn’t have a clue what that was about, but the NYT, see above, decided to run with it because......(of Henry & Co, and LFC)

C***s|

It pissed me off when one of them started lecturing us on what we wanted to win more, the Prem or the CL. How the fuck does he know what the board of directors want for the club?

It's the absolute arrogance that winds me up.

You and your friends were here when you were playing last week so not at the games

I would have struggled to be at the game last week as I’m working away at the moment. Plus if you actually read back, you’ll see I actually started posting well after the game as I was watching ours over here.

if the players did not want to move, the transfers would not occur. The clear conclusion is City have had more togetherness than other top teams which is the main reason we have won 4 titles in recent years (and several cups) - many of which have been very tight finishes.

Of course it’s a tight squad and trophies have evolved from it. Nobody would deny it. However my point was that your strategy is simply to add the best young talent and let them flourish to the benefit of their club. We do the same but the difference is that if the blockbuster comes in, our owners think kerching. That said, after replacing Coutinho with Allison & Van Dijk, every Red I know was shocked. Nobody thought we’d reinvest the entire fee on two players. Especially not after we replaced Suarez with Lambert & Balotelli. That’s a big advantage for you having very, very rich owners - other clubs know that huge wages, a factor in all big transfers, can be swatted away with backers like that. The trick is keeping the nucleus together. For you, so far so very good.

following cliche no. 1, endless oil money, we now have cliche no.2, our owners (sic) have human rights issues.

We have one owner, not multiple owners, and he has no more more or less ‘human rights issues’ than John Henry.

John Henry has no human rights issues attached to him personally. To suggest that the UAE and Abu Dhabi do not is rather daft.
Again the point I’m making is none of these things affect the daily running of yours or our club. As the game became more and more monetised, so the levels of corruption, deceit, fraud etc have exponentially grown. It’s attached to an awful lot of top level football these days and probably won’t get much better. It seems such a daft stick to try and beat someone with chatting footy, there is absolutely no correlation between the two. Are the issues important? Yes, much more than football. But they’re for a different debate.
