4 point delta already given to the scousers by last minute VAR decisions, it's a joke, and stinks to high heaven.
Without that gap would be 4 points with us having a game in hand.
We will need to beat them twice I think to win the league. But in the best ever points tally of 100 points in the history of the league we still dropped 14 points. I just cant see the scousers beating that, however, it still doesn't leave us very much margin for error given we have 8 points to close.

We just need to stay within until we play them beat them and blow this whole race wide openWe'll catch up and overtake them. They're vulnerable.

Fixed it for you.The delayed reaction by Mane says it all. Desperate attempt for a penalty & the ref did exactly what the FA asked him to do.

It has nothing to do with the Dippers winning the league , the issue is the Premier league do not want us to win it three times on the bounce , its Ok for the Rags to do it , its money in the coffers and good for the product , but when the upstarts begin to dominate then it has to be stopped. The Dippers fit the profile for the Premier league , millions of plastic fans and commercial revenue , the penalty decision against Leicester could so easily have been overturned but it was never going to happen. Now i am off to the Brexit thread , ive got a theory :)
Yeah, they got 39pts from 13 goals... 13 1-0 wins I think.They have been getting away with shitloads, but do you remember when the rags last won the league? An entire season of stuffy 1-0 wins full of lucky decisions and favouritism from referees.

I think you’ll find it’s the billions placed on the Dippers in Far East getting syndicates - that’ll decide this years title.

The narrative has already been written. The only question is whether we will play our part and lose at Anfield and not beat them at ours.
There will be numerous twists and turns this season, and so far, between the two teams, they’ve all been against us and for them (with the exception of the Community Shield!). Injuries? Against City! Last minute penalties and goalkeeping errors? For them!
Maybe it is “their year,” but I don’t believe in fate. I believe you EARN what you get, as long as people aren’t bent. That seems to be our biggest hurdle at the moment!!

No but yes. There was contact and that normally means a penalty these days. Mane’s dive which won him the penalty was probably one of the worst dives I’ve seen for a while.
