Thing is that Norwich loss will come back to haunt us. No way we should have lost there.

Aston Villa went there today and ripped them apart 5-1 and that is promoted Villa not us. When Liverpool goes there they will murder them too.

Next two league games for Liverpool is United away and Spurs home. Hard to see them not getting 6 points vs a useless United and this Spurs is in horrible form now.
That would put them 10 games 10 wins, 30 points.
And already played Arsenal home, Chelsea away, United away, Spurs home at that point.

Our only top6 game so far was Spurs home we couldnt even with that from 1-0 up then 2-1 up...

Our fixtures are simply much easier in the first 10 rounds than for Liverpool and they are the ones making advantage of it, but after that we are gonna have it much harder in terms of fixtures until January.

The match against them in November is crucial for us. And its gonna be at Anfield where we never fucking win.
Aside from that...

Shown signs of real fragility over these last 3 games. They've toiled at times. Just a massive shame that they get the chance to press the reset button during this international break

That didn’t look like a pen!! To me.

,
Because it wasn't, and another thing MOTD didn't air Klopps full rant about foul on Salah not being given a red, in the post match presser where has a go at the reporter telling him that he only believes it's not a red because he's English before he storms off in sulk. They did put it on their FB page tho.

.. I’ll check that out, Klopp is as unhinged as they come!
..what about that challenge on Tielemans?...bet he never mentioned that.

Ronaldo springs to mind the way he threw himself to the floor.. Rather not win a game with an embarrassing penalty like that.

We were fucked over by our lack of finishing in front of goal not VAR, 30 goal attempts and 2 goals is nobody else's fault other than our players.
Agree to a certain extent, Yes we had an off day on front of goal but that's football, But the team kept going, Kept creating opportunities and going until the end, We eventually put the ball in the back of the net for it to be wrongly chalked off.

We’ll do them don’t you worry, they are feeling the pressure even though they have 100% record, if we do our bit we’ll be fine.

both teams have got to get there squads through 45 games yet, they’ve got their mid season shenanigans in Qatar.

Not even worried.

No. Nor God.

I don’t believe in strange, mysterious forces that create events that appear to have been decided long before they were actually deemed an actual outcome.

fate
/fāt/
noun
  1. 1.
the development of events beyond a person's control, regarded as determined by a supernatural power.

    DO YOU BELIEVE IN THAT????
Aye

Liverpool's luck is now getting ridiculous. In the last two games the oppo goalkeeper gives them the win and today Mane dives(yet again) to get a penalty in the last minute. Klopp's rant about the tackle on Salah...pure deflection from the "dive"... and based on his comments one would presume he will be out for 9 months?????.

I thought it was a soft penalty. There's contact certainly but mane makes the most of it. The frustrating thing about reading the previous comments, is it makes out it's just us or we are really bad for it. Most players go down under contact these days, sometimes they do a shit job at it and it looks theatrical. I'm not a fan of it to be honest but it's not just us and I have seen plenty of city players do it too. Let's try and not be so blinkered

But fucking rich coming from a dipper.

Yes they are vulnerable. Assuming we beat Wolves then we would be 5 points behind again. We have to play the dippers twice so win both and we would be a point ahead. I know it's not as simple as that but some people on here need to get a grip. It's still early October and we all know what happened last season. The way they have been playing recently and with KDB back I reckon we'll win at Anfield next month. We are a better team/squad than they are but my worry is VAR. Seems to me that we may need to do something really exceptional to win the PL this season, and I mean really exceptional.

Agreed. Basically we have to work on scoring +3 in every game to allow for VAR. A mathematician would be able to draw up some sort of formula..

W=G+V+G3 where winning is goals plus VAR plus Goals to the power of 3.
