Great to see that all their ex-players who were total gash are coming out the woodwork in the press...the latest is chris kirkland who says that liverpool have the title sewn up already, that he cant see them losing four games this season and that they will definitely take points of ourselves making the gap 12pts

Oh well...might as well give up now eh

The pressure is now all on them. Favourites now for the title and the media and ex players in overdrive, and we are only 8 games in

The thick wanker obviously didn't do maths at school as they are 8 points in front of us and are going to take points off us, presumably 4 given he stated the 12 point gap he thinks a win and a draw for them 4pts neglecting that 4 points for them is also 1 point for us. And the other 56 matches are all totally irrelevant as they are the bestest ever la

I wouldn't call them a one man team, but they would obviously be weakened if VVD got injured. But Matip has stepped up this season and although not a world beater he has improved his game.

When you look at our long term injuries ie Laporte and Sane that is comparable to Van Dijk and one of their front three being out. We all know if this happened I think they would be dropping points.

If you look at our situation compared to theres you are looking at the below being out. If that was the case they would be battling United to stay out of the bottom 3.

Comparing Wijnaldum with KDB, that's a new low for you City fans. You all forget our keeper has been out since Norwich. You get a result at Anfield it's back on, you lose it's over.

In theory it’s tough

In reality Klopp will do what he does best and play the kids in the club wc leaving his starters with almost a two week break in December.

It was more of a case of picking your most influential midfielder. Henderson is dog shite and Fabinho is more defensive than KDB.

Not if you lose 3 in a row before that game! At least we know if any team can be top at Christmas and still bottle it it’s you lot!
Or we can put all eggs in champions league basket then pretend it’s the best competition

To be honest, it looks like city will drop more points between now and the liverpool game. Still a long way to go though and they could easily go on a massive winning streak. It just feels different like luck is with us this year.

If the FA favour Liverpool, in terms of them winning the league what would stop them? It smells of desperation.

It’s not necessarily Liverpool that are a paying referees or the FA off, to win the league.

There’s definitely either a conscious or unconscious bias though.

They do not want us to win it every year as A) we don’t sell as much as Liverpool or Utd and B) it’ll diminish the league as a competition, if Pep wins it from year 2 until he leaves.

We’re 8 games in and Liverpool have a 4 point swing in their favour with decisions already.

I genuinely didn’t moan about decisions half as much last season, I appreciated the human error aspect to refereeing, now any wrong decision that’s blatant, is unforgivable.
