They need to grow up and stop their student union politics. Just as the Farages of this world are having to swallow a few compromises so should they. Their silly games to stop brexit entirely could very well push us into an unintended no deal.

You’re entitled to that opinion but I’m merely objectively trying to determine the likelihood of it getting through, nothing more or less.

They might but some will have to go back on their word that they would only vote if it was acceptable to the DUP. Plus its not in reality anything like the deal they wanted when they were voting down Mays deal.

Well tough shit for them , they are all seeking perfection and that’s not possible. Children.

i'd take that. Particularly the deal like n.I.

Might need a border though.

Theres a staggering ommision in the new agreement.

It's a circus, from everyone i'm seeing interviewed it seems this deal could well be worse than May's.

More concerning is how the hell can this be pushed though on Saturday when it is only being released today, fuck me the devil is always in the detail and there is next to no time to digest it.
I think that was always the plan.

Not entirely because the U.K. Govt can hold an assembly vote on this issue even if Stormont isn’t sitting which makes sense. The problem for the DUP is that the EU alignment and customs border in the Irish Sea is the default and there is little chance that a majority will ever vote to put up a land border. The DUP wanted the default to be full U.K. alignment but the EU policy as a special measure which they could pull the plug on. They wanted control of the process. Sinn Fein don’t have a veto either but they do have the votes to block a move away from EU alignment.

As I said over a week ago when the DUP were all over the first proposal.
Make the default staying aligned to the EU and see if they think it’s so great.
It was a trap then and although I have no sympathy for the DUP, it is basically dropping NI, now. You couldn’t see them going for this.

The irony is however that there would more likely be cross community support for this rather than the other way around.
However putting NI under cyclical 4 year uncertainty is still not good for business and is opening the way for disgruntled minorities of the lunatic fringes on both sides to start seriously agitating again.

In some ways, the Benn Act was boris' biggest blessing. It forced him off a pigheaded no-deal dick swinging fight into compromising to the EU offers. But he has got a deal, even if it was already on offer, and that does deserve recognition.

Every Tory will probably vote for it so let’s be generous and say 288 votes there.

They still need 37 from somewhere.

I genuinely can’t see them getting that. The DUP is only 10.

They may will need half of the 35 independents and 20+ Labour MPs.
Well most of the independents wanted a deal so assuming they vote for it that leaves a couple of labour members to vote with the Government and there is more than that support leaving including the leader if truth be told, its going to be interesting Saturday.

It certainly is mate but if I was you, I’d get my Euros tomorrow just in case.

The pound has surged today and if it’s voted down, it’ll crash Saturday.

Up to you and depends if you like a risk!

Like me to bring you anything back we won't be able to get come first BMW bog roll or the like :-)

Bollox.

Nobody in the public wants another referendum, it’s a complete cop out by MPs.

Why on earth would anyone trust another referendum, so what you are saying is a deal which parliament rejects gets put to the people in a vote and if that deal gets public support and wins you expect this parliament , Gina gee, lady hale and others to implement the deal they have all said is shit. It would be an utter disaster and they would block, block block again.

no-one at all? Well I do. Irrelevant though I think this deal is getting passed on Saturday.

You're assuming all the ERG will back it, that's not a sure thing by any stretch
