Var debate 2019/20

For that matter, what has your reply got to do with my question?

Because it was asking why you quoted me, so a direct correlation.

My post you decided to jump all over was not just pertaining to VAR it is a long standing observation of that posters style of posting.

The stat that sits in my head from the Mancini title winning season was going into the last game, if I remember correctly united had 1 player sent off and 8 opponents sent off, whereas for City we had 8 players sent off and 1 against, the exact reverse (until sir joey of Barton did his stuff). Unbelievable disparity

But how many of those were wrong? I have no idea offhand, but only wrong decisions are important.

Derry (QPR) and Vinny (Arsenal) come to mind instantly.

That was the year of Young's fallling sickness, was it?

I'm sure there were wrong decisions which would have added or subtracted from the numbers, but basic stats aren't very meaningful. As I said, I've no idea how many there were.

Its a great stat but I am pretty sure it is not accurate. No chance we had 8 players sent off in the league, if we had we would never have won a title.

I think Balo twice, komps, clichy and Barry only and the United sending off was against us plus Barton.

Fuckinhel this threads generally moved on 20 pages after a scouse game.

VAR is shite.

The first rag goal should not have stood as it is a foul. Fuck the bar being high, what is the point in reviewing it if they are not going to look at mistakes?

VAR ref doesnt need to over rule, he needs to ask the ref to go check the possible foul and its all good and well we keep hearing they will not use the screen at the side of the pitch.....why the fuck not?

Mane goal ruled out correctly but why wasn't Deli's goal yesterday?

VAR is fucking being used incorrectly and imo its being used to suit.

lets not forget that yes, Liverpool got one against them today but it wasn't Southampton that gained or Burnley....it was the Rags.

Yes the Premiership are determined to ensure United finish 9th.
