Look Billy, I'm going to give you the benifit of the doubt here and not assume you are a bit dim either.
It's a play on last year and how we were 10 points ahead with Man City having a game in hand.
Last weekend we were 5 points ahead with a game in hand.
Last season you won your game in hand and made it 7 points difference. We drew ours and increased it to 6.
It's a simple retort to the 'bottled a 10 point lead', when really it was only 7. It was in jest, y'know, for a bit of fun, but with the amount of explaining that's been required it's gotten ridiculous. Apologies.

Simple really
After 8 games
Liverpool P8 Points 24
City P8 Points 16

After 9 games
Liverpool P9 Points 25
City P9 Points 19

24-16 =8
25-19 =6

Therefore after 9 game the lead is 2 points less than it was after 8 games

So, moving past that absolute train wreck, (not a train Liverpool fans saw Man City players on! Lol), any predictions on the weekend's game? Tottenham are awful at the moment. The game's in Anfield. My guess is 3 points to Liverpool, (which will increase our lead from 3 points to 6 points. Tee hee.)

The Merseyside police investigation into the Origi banner have found the responsible person, they're ready to congratulate him anytime now.

It was a tough case to crack as they had to try & identify someone in a crowd with only a video camera & their face. We know from the coach ambush how this is near impossible to solve...

Liverpool win case against the New Balance, paving the way for Nike kit deal. Probably doesn't change much, but they will be optimistic this allows the unlock a tier of talent they haven't been able to previously.

Man Yoo are also awful at the moment. That didn't go according to plan - now did it?

Sir Harry of Kane will give you a dry bumming

Anyone thinking spurs will do anything but bend over backwards and take a battering hasn’t watched much football in recent years. A comfortable 3/4-1 Liverpool win with spurs missing several clear chances before Liverpool score.

I would say the same about the rags as well. You never know.

Liverpool have won five of the last 10 meetings. Games at Anfield recently have gone:
1-1 in 2016
2-2 in 2018
2-1 in 2019 with Loris throwing one in in the very last minute.
So, whilst Liverpool are undoubtedly favourites, recent form suggests it might be closer than some think.
Also, remember Norwich and Wolves this season!!

It is quite simple, but you seem a bit dense.

You were 10 points, 7 points and 8points ahead at different points and we stormed past you to win it.

In the end you were second best to us yet graceless in defeat.

Whilst last season could've gone better I was very happy with the ending.
Man city fans were probably happy too.
Everyone's a winner yea?
