The article lost any meagre credibility it might have had when the sub-headline referenced Jordan Henderson thinking.
 
We want them staying the in the League Cup, yeah? I'm sure Klopp will roll out a completely U21 side (with no media remarks about disrespecting the competition) but assuming we get past Southampton we'll want the dippers to have to match our fixture congestion

If the unthinkable happens and liverpool do end a 30 year drought, then they will come up against something that they haven't experienced in what basically amounts to a generation or lifetime......and that is the opposition teams playing to just stop you

This is something we have grown accustomed too with our success - and it is a badge we wear with pride that with the negative tactics we come up across week in week out (bar the odd games) that we can still win silverware and break records along the way

I honestly think that liverpool could cope with that change, and would fail to break teams down.

They could finish 1st this season and then 4th or 5th the next

However, lets not let that happen - along way to go yet and only 6pts behind is nothing. Lets make it 3 in a row : )

And, if you look in to this a bit further, how our player attacking contributions are relatively well distributed in comparison to other “top” Premier League clubs.
 
For all the Dippers boastfulness does anyone else think they are absolutely crapping themselves because we are their nemesis , 2012 , 2018 we have shit on them and they cannot get us out of their heads , their local Rag the Echo every other article mentions us , their myopic programmes like Anfield Rap and RedmenTV act so blase whilst secretly wondering of their 2019 Wimbledon team will manage to stave off Pep and the lads . They have had 30 years of failure a couple of Glamour Cup wins is little compensation for their continued attempts for their Holy Grail , if they f*ck it up this year ,with all the injuries we are carrying , they will never win it.

What Liverpool are achieving right now with regards to points accumulation is really beyond anything we'd have thought possible 5 years ago. What's even more unbelievable is that Man City are constantly breathing down our necks and will never relent. No other team comes close. A 6 point lead at this stage after the teams we've played would typically point towards a probable league win but because it's Man City we're nowhere close. City are a machine that will close in on and crush any team choosing to take their foot off the pedal even a little. So yea, we think about your team more than any other because it's well believed that if Liverpool finish ahead of City they win the league and vice versa.
For what it's worth though, I don't think you can get us out of your heads either.

We have won four titles in seven years , so your team doesnt even enter into our heads , we are not under achieving but as far as the league titles go ,but your club certainly is under achieving , apparently your this massive entity of a football club and yet its THIRTY YEARS since you won a domestic league title.
Your mind games dont work with us pal , every time we confront you for a trophy , we beat you , so i cant see why your myth of a football should bother us at all . If you do scab a title this season it will be a one off because of the ridiculous amount of injuries we are suffering , whilst your team yet again get the rub of the green regarding injuries.
Your club is just one injury away from collapsing completely , if VVC gets injured your title ambitions end overnight , your a one man team,now that is worrying, sleep well.

We are in their heads big time. All the fucking shit about FFP, the emptyhad nonsense, the plastic fans bullshit it’s all because they are obsessed. We’ve nicked the title off them twice in the recent past and I believe we have scarred them mentally, especially last season with them getting 97 points, imagine how that must have felt. Like you say if they don’t do it this season with all our injuries they just might implode.

Seriously you are only top because of refereeing decisions. Please don’t pretend you don’t know it. Please don’t believe you play anywhere near as good football as us. Decisions gave you victories in the spurs, Leicester and Chelsea game, your play didn’t. You only managed 2 goals from open play in two of those games. We were robbed of 2 points against spurs. That’s not opinion or up for discussion it’s fact.

Obviously. Not much room for debate though. Granted the Leicester penalty was soft and you were robbed against Spurs. Agreed. 4 points at best.
Our defence is a little more solid than yours when attacked and our fullbacks are stronger but our gameplay has become very predictable. Still though, you only have to beat the team in front of you. We'll find out a lot in 2 weeks time.

Until recently we haven’t had a central defender fit, our left backs are always fucking injured so no wonder you feel your defence is slightly better. Mind you you’ve conceded 16 in all comps and we’ve conceded just 11, but yeah your better at the back.
