Im still convinced pep will live out his ultimate dream of fielding 11 midfield players during his time at Manchester City.

Tonight was his litmus test.
 
This reminds me of the last derby at Maine Road when we beat utd 3-1.
We got beat at Wigan in the cup on the Tuesday or Wednesday and distin and howey both went of injured.
Come Saturday we had wiekens and mettomo come in for the injured pair and the rest is history.
I got the feeling for Sunday that all the Scousers and Liverpool loving media will be having a circle jerk after what's happened tonight but you just watch us on Sunday.
Write us off at your peril, tonight has galvanised us big-time.
Roll on the shithole Anfield.
 
I don’t think we are playing very well currently. The injuries and now loss of form to key players is really impacting on our performances levels for me. We really need a big game from KDB and Bernardo if he plays which based on form, he probably won’t. The defence looks shaky whenever attacked currently so it is essential that we defend from the front all over the pitch for the while of the match.

we have to weather what will be a very fast start from them. To be honest with all the problems we have I think we will be fortunate to get anything but am hoping for the best.

That’s what I want to see. Fernandinho in his natural position is a must for me otherwise it will be like lambs to the slaughter for whoever plays centre back. If gundogan plays there we will turnover the ball so many times and suffer badly. Bernardo is needed in the centre with no silva and mahrez hasn’t done anything for weeks and doesn’t have the fight needed for anfield so cancelo right wing infront of Walker. That’s what I want to see but In reality I Fully expect to see Fernandinho at cb, gundogan holding and mahrez or Jesus out wide with sterling.
