He missed one 2 years ago and never took another. We seriously don't have great penalty taker apart from maybe Gundogan, he scores them regularly.

The penalty technique of Aguero, Jesus and Marhez is crap.
They should watch Salad and duplicate his style.
5 paces back, 3 paces to the right. Run at the ball looking to hammer the ball into the bottom LHC of the goal at pace. If the goalie moves to the left to try and save it the ball is placed in the RHC.

I reckon those keepers used to dive out of the way to avoid getting injured.

I would like the most thunderous kicker to take them. I wouldn't be bothered if he didn't score, indeed, I would sooner he aimed directly at the goalie's bollocks and hit 'em splat on and when the ball has bounced down to our end for our throwing, the kicker can just whisper in his ear, pretending some act of public remorse, "Now waste a bit more time, you fucker!"

Yeah, the RDAHundDSMeeday had it in for us in those days. Francis was the cleanest player we had taking penalties.

Did Shearer ever miss one? He just hammered the ball as hard as he could. There seemed to be but a nano-second between kicking it and it hitting the back of the net.

It’s really odd that Gundogan doesn’t take them unless he doesn’t fancy it. In competitive games ( not shootouts) he has scored 7/7.
