I think the Tories know full well they were well behind with the whole social media thing in the GE in 2017. Their recent attempts to "catch up" have not only been bloody woeful but embarrassing. Someone please tell them to stop.

I love successful people , just hate tossers who avoid direct questions. Off out now so will reconvene later . As usual is been emotional
I've answered all of your questions. I've asked you ONE and you've avoided it 5 times and you have the utter gall to say I am a tosser for avoiding questions???

You really are a very very stupid person indeed, as many of us on here have recognised already.

I agree. Well, about the being shit part, not about wanting them to stop.

I am just wondering where "genius" Cummings is when you need him. He's responsible for getting us into this mess and I'm relying on those same skills to deliver a Tory victory so we don't have a disaster following a crisis. But so far, he's either had a stroke, or has done runner.

Dom's new gift to the nation is another 3 word mantra - something about Brexit I think.

Funnily enough, I don't want them to stop either ...not really ;-)
And yeah, Cummings seems to have disappeared, although that may be deliberate in that no voter likes to think there is a power behind the throne.
The whole social media thing from the Tories reminds me of "dad dancing" at a family do. Labour are excellent at it though and they'll get the youngsters onboard again. I still think BJ will get a majority but I fully expect Corbyn to close the gap before the GE. Both Labour and Corbyn are streets in front of BJ and the Tories when it comes to campaigning.

Agree with all of that. I wrote to my MP a week or two back and told him that in my view "Get Brexit Done" does not cut it, not least since 50% of the population don't want it done. Hearing that is like Kryptonite to young voters, and when you think about what Corbyn is offering them - free tuition fees, free dentistry, free god know what else, better NHS and no Brexit. Vs "Get Brexit Done", you can understand why the 18-25 vote is essentially lost, gone, completely.

It's a terrible dereliction by the Tories IMO. I remember when I came out of university, the most important thing to me, THE most important thing was being able to get a job. And having got a job, having enough money to get by, to pay my rent and buy my beer etc! And this is where the Tories *should* be able to score points: Labour will put people out of work, and they wiil inevitably end up having to raise interest rates, which means higher rents, higher mortgages. And inevitably higher taxes all around when the imaginary money tree doesn't deliver. Young people will be more out of work, and worse off, under Labour. And yet Boris seems to have forgotten to mention it.

Just listened to the leader I'm going to vote for telling everybody Johnson lied to the Queen. That's not true, not even a difference of opinion or interpretation of the facts - just a plain lie. His advice was that it was legal to prorogue and nobody knows what he said to HRH except him and her. Shameless dishonesty like other two and the shouting Conway fool on Sky is now claiming their manifesto spending and taxing doesn't add up either. Pathetic.

I have always been a floating voter, although I get more left wing as I get older. My parents were a TU activist and a dyed in the wool Tory (elections were always fun, lol).
I think we will see the 6/12 election debate between the 2 leaders get a bit tastier. Got the impression last night that both were keeping their powder dry to some extent. And both have areas that are very weak.

I would say it’s pretty safe to say he has lied to her at some point.

Guilty until proven innocent eh Gordon? Coming from you of all people, that's quite surprising.
Sadly it seems dishonesty is also inescapable on here, even from our most seasoned contributors. It's perfectly true that, like Corbyn and Swinson etc etc, Johnson lies - we know that - but also like them everything he says is not automatically untrue.

They all lie but there’s a difference between how often you lie and sadly Johnson lies more and to greater effect.

Seems to me every party is making it up as they go along. I would like to hear what the professional civil servants make of all the idiotic promises being flung about.

I'm personally very pleased Boris is flinging idiotic promises about, because he has to at least try to match up to the master idiot. Something Theresa May totally failed to do and look where that got her. And it's actually a demonstration that Boris is not at all far right - he's quite a moderate, centre-ground Tory, not that the lefty loons will want to accept it. But I am sure the Redwoods of this world would be advocating more tax cuts not more public spending.

back now our kid , you obviously either can't read or your carer is not available to find my answer last night ( it was roughly around this time ). Funny thing is I was p!anning to go and see "the good liar" at the cinema tonight , but after being unexpectedly called out earlier I can't really be arsed now !! The title could be a biopic for Boris ( or maybe even you ) ? Is it the sort of thing Stockports answer to sir Richard Branson would go and see ?? I am genuinely curious to know ....love the " many on here " stuff btw , genuine cowardly shit from someone who avoids awkward questions like the plague !!

Ha, ha ...still in denial eh , ? I am sure A GREAT MANY on here can see you are floundering badly . you might benefit from An early night night , these late ones are obviously not good for "succesful" people like yourself .
