A Tory vote is a vote that endorses Racism, Homophobia, Sexism, disdain for the disabled, the homeless, the poor, the working class and everyone impacted by austerity. To say it isn't is to lie to yourself.

Labour are not the only alternative. Lib Dems, Greens, SNP, Plaid Cymru, Independents, vote for any of them.

The two main parties will only get better when they realise the electorate demand better from them. We can only do this with our vote and by voting for someone else more deserving of representing our country at the highest level. Otherwise it will continue and the same shite will be offered up time and time again.

The Tories have done nothing during their tenure to deserve another 5 years, their infighting on Europe and internal power struggles led to the shit show that is Brexit, the ramifications of which will go on for generations. Nobody is shouting about all the great things they've done, just the PM, a serial liar (not someone who lies a bit) avoiding proper scrutiny whilst lying to everyone gullible enough to fall for it.

Believe it or not, talking to our binman the other day, he came straight out with 'Who are you voting for?'
Now, being the cautious type, and not wanting the bin to be emptied all over the front, I said I wasn't too sure, he said
that he fucking was, it's Johnson, and he said most of his crew felt the same. The reason was Brexit and a thorough dislike
of Corbyn, so there may indeed be a swing as you say.

Just seen billionaire mobile phone entrepreneur John Caldwell saying he and the wealthy people he knows would leave the UK if Labour get in.

If the Tories remain in power there are large numbers of people who would be better off living abroad ie. In countries with better healthcare, state schools, care for the elderly but can't relocate for all sorts of reasons. Job, language, leaving friends and families behind, or just the fact they like living in the UK.

Not a problem for Mr Caldwell. He can relocate his business to Singapore and swan around the world on his yacht.

Essentially what he means is his tax is leaving the UK.

The request was made by the Muslim Council of Mosques following discovery of various WhatsApp Groups and closed Facebook groups of Conservative MP's ....during the recent election for the leader of the Tories ... Johnson , Javid etc were asked if the inquiry should go ahead they said yes.


Since then (like the vast majority of Tory promises ......) crickets

Have there been cases of Islamophobia in the Tory party? I don't know - probably I would guess. I would guess there's been cases of it in the Labour party as well. Essentially it’s tapping into what people hope and promising to deliver it even if we all know it isn’t true. We just want it be true which is how a con works. Even the way it is sold is revealing. Brexit is now something unpleasant that we have to get behind us. An unwanted event that we now want to be over and done with. And the seductive appeal of a transition period were nothing changes means we can legally Brexit and people will not notice much difference will be interesting psychologically. Do we fight on with constant railing against the EU and yet more deadlines and cliff edges and business enduring another year or three of uncertainty or do we just acquiesce and end up formalising a transition style arrangement?

Interesting choices ahead.
