Hope there is some truth in this. He's a star. Only player out there who would soften the Sane loss.
Big drop from Jack.
Very interesting.
Jack is probably the most reliable reporter in terms of City news.
Wait why would those clauses make you skeptical? Or you think the plan would be just to sit there and match at the very end? It's an interesting drop from Gaughan but I'm immediately skeptical because we know from der spiegel + football leaks, who have his contract and wrote an insanely in depth series of articles on Sancho that we have 2 clauses in his contract, a matching offer clause, where we get notified and the chance to match any offer they've accepted and they have to accept it, and a sell on %.
Both of those do give us advantages in the market as the first means no bidding war, and the second means we get a discount as x% of the fee comes back to us.
We've been trying to get him to sign a contract for 18 months now. How much more firm does he need to be?If this story is indeed true , then I am assuming we have a firm indication from Sane's camp , that he is not staying ..which is a shame really

Really hope this is true. Said a few weeks ago that he's the one of the few players who could adequately replace Sane if he leaves.
Not yet, but has the potential to be.No where near as good as sane
He's massively outperforming what Sané did at the same age in Bundesliga.
True and he'd be playing in an even better team here.Plays in a better team
He wouldn't. He'd be sitting next to Stockiesta :-)True and he'd be playing in an even better team here.
Ahh, as positive as ever. Can't see him wanting to come back to us.
The world's his oyster
