Stats are important to a certain extent but Leroy is levels above him
Over exaggerating, I would currently rate Leroy higher as well, but not by that much. Sane is also 4 years older, and has never produced the numbers Sancho has last season or Sancho's numbers this season.

Neither is a generational talent, but literally right below that as players who will be some of the best in the world.

It would appear Raheem may have a future career as a football agent...

Sterling is the key to all this if Leroy is leaving.

Oh, and Bayern, bizarrely.

What a strange influence they can wield at Dortmund, seemingly.
Don't Bayern normally tell Dortmund players who they want to run down their contracts so they can sign them in a free?

If you really want to compare them seriously, I would say that Sané has a more limited game but he's better at doing what he does. I don't mean that as a bad thing - Robben was similar, and he was incredible.

Sancho's got a lot more variety because of his two-footedness, he will make passes you'd expect from a number 10 that Sané wouldn't ever attempt and he has different types of finish as well.

Sané has raw speed that's undefendable when he's in space, but we've seen his play time limited because if you do take that space away by parking the bus, he can become a bit of a spectator. Sancho doesn't have that speed but with no space, his dribbling ties people in knots, similar to Bernardo at his best in the box so maybe he'd fare better against the parked busses we face anyway. Sancho's final ball on counter attacks and the like seems better as well, that's a part of Sané's game Pep always used to mention needing improving.

If you compare Sancho to Sané and Sterling at the same age, he's quite far ahead, and that's not surprising because he's been ahead as a 15 year old when everyone knew he was the best forward prospect in the country, as a 17 year old when he was clearly the best player at the u17 Euros and half the world cup - but he needs to play under a top coach next to make the most of all that potential.

If he goes to Pep or Klopp, maybe even Pochettino or Nagelsmann if they end up at clubs who can afford him, then he'll be that generational player who can probably score 30 a season. If he goes to a manager who doesn't focus on improving their players then he'll be very good but not great.

I definitely agree with this. Sane's assists mostly come down to using pace down the left and sending in a good cross on his left, while sancho can do this on the right as well and has more in his ability to pick a great pass.

Sane more physically gifted, both probably equally good finishers. If I had to choose... I think I still want Sane to stay because his potential is technically higher due to his physicality, if Sane was able to improve his passing and movement when teams sit back and he can't use pace he would be unstoppable.

As for Sancho, honestly I don't think any other coach would get more out of him than he is getting at Dortmund. He has so much freedom in that Dortmund team. Maybe I'm wrong and another coach can take him higher, but I think if he goes up another level it will simply be down to him, personally, I think he only has a little bit more room to grow considering how exceptional he has been this season. While Sane (even though older) has even more room, sounds odd to say for the older player but just what I feel.

Of course we should sign him, he is english, home grown, we can sign him for a reduced fee and he is the most talented young english footballer in the game today with international and champs league experience......but we wont even try.

Just think if we get him with the other young english players we have

Sterling
Sancho
Foden
Angelino
Doyle
Harwood-Bellis

Benabria is for me the real David silva replacement Foden is more in the bracket of kdb/Sane.

surely he will want to go where he is near enough assured of game time. That means if Sane does go we would have to sell it to him as him being a direct replacement to play on the opposite side of the wing to Raz - which means we have mahrez as cover and we can push Bernardo inside where he belongs

It would be a great signing but at the minute I am not sure he would want to come back to us, I hope I am wrong
