This is a really tough one to call. I'd like to see at least the two young centerbacks, but think Doyle might be able to sneak into midfield also. I'd personally also throw Braaf in for Sterlimg, but probably a better chance of Poveda or Bernabe I would think?

Ok, I don't get it personally. For me this is a must win game and we play a team that matches the occasion (a cup quarter final). Even if we win every remaining league game, we'll still finish second.

We’re playing Oxford. The likes of Garcia, Doyle and Harwood-Bellis have all impressed this season against better teams than Oxford so I’m pretty sure we’d be absolutely fine if they all played.

We played Swansea last season in the FA Cup and they gave us a hiding until Sergio came on for the last 10 mins. We would have gone out if VAR was in effect too.

Really don't think it's necessary against Oxford United.

If we can't get it done without him against them then we have no business being in the comp.

Oxford's defeat on Saturday was their first in about a dozen games. They're a good footballing side though suffering quite a few injuries at the moment. Approach the game with any complacency and we'll be in trouble. And we might remember Jamie Mackie's ability to (almost) wreck the party.

Why would you want to risk our luague cup run, given we are out of the title challenge. As things stand, the cup games are no less important than the league ones. We lost from Wigan, we can lose from Oxford if we don't take the game seriously enough. You want to play half the team that failed at U19 level.

Since when did 3 equal half? And remind me, how have those same players been getting on in the EFL Trophy against lower league teams?

We lost from Wigan, we shouldn't be complacent.

Harwood, Garcia, Doyle, Bernabe, Braaf, Poveda + Foden, that's 7 U19 players, 3 of them 18 y.o., 2 17 y.o.

Although I don't think Doyle will play but I'd like to think even moreso that Rodri and Dinho won't.

And we beat Southampton 3-1 with three teenagers in the team. I’m not sure why the Wigan result from 2 years ago is at all relevant here.

We played Southampton at home and after they lost 9:0 the previous game and feared another drubbing.

If you can't see why the Wigan loss is relevant I can't help you.

Maybe you misread but I'm suggesting three youth players, not half a team. THB and Garcia looked completely fine last time as well.
