If you lose Billy Graham-based support then you must be the cüntiest of cünts to have ever cünted in all of cüntidom. As he was a close second.

Not a single vote will he lose due to this. The writer will be castigated as a traitor to God and Christianity by Trump supporters. There will be subscription cancellations and scores of angry letters, despite how much sense he makes. Also the author (editor in chief of the magazine) retires on January 3, so this is a parting shot. There’s nothing seismic about it.

Trump is a cult.

Autocorrect?

I need to apologise. I said 50% supported impeachment and removal and 43% were against.

That’s wrong. It’s 50% support and 41% against as per that liberal bastion of news that is Fox.
I thought your original post said 70% wanted him impeached, no?

Sounded like something straight out of the ass of someone on MSNBC.

I’ll take that as an apology.

70 impeached (not necessarily removed)

50 impeached AND removed

41 against impeachment and removal

You would have thought that as a modern democracy one might get rid of the rule that a president can’t be arrested or indicted. What would happen if he shot someone in the head this weekend? Genuine question.

I'm sure the "sitting President" is a relatively "new addition" to the constitution and I can't remember if it's even written in there.

I don't even think it's an amendment, but something that's almost an 'unwritten rule'/ 'pact'/ 'agreement'.

I could be wrong, mind...

It's definitely not the law or part of the Constitution.

It was an Office of Legal Council (OLC) opinion, which first reared its head in a 1973 memo stating "the indictment or criminal prosecution of a sitting President would impermissibly undermine the capacity of the executive branch to perform its constitutionally assigned functions... ".
