If any Conservative abstained that would show and none did. There was pairing meaning if an MP from any party couldn't vote then if they found a pair then that MP couldn't vote either.

Again for the record, no Conservative either abstained or voted against the WA.

All Conservative PPC had to sign an agreement that they would support the WA put forward.

Democracy at its finest.

I know brexit is going to be a great success and we'll all look back in a couple of years and wonder what all the fuss was about so the story linked below is probably irrelevant and in no way a sign of things to come and absolutley not ironic that customers of a certain pub chain with a leave advocating owner are up in arms because of a shortage of christmas delicacies which is because of a shortage of seasonal eu workers who we don't really rely on and anyway brexit hasn't happened yet so it can't be anything to do with that and anyway there's plenty of british people eager to wrap pigs in blankets if only they were given the opportunity. Nothing funny at all about the whinging tweets to whetherspoons about crying children and no lack of insight blah blah. Carry on everyone, this is small fry in the grand scheme of things, it will all be alright

Of all the predictions on bluemoon, I claim credit for this one - except that it would be Dim Tim's Wetherspoons that ran out of pigs-in-blankets.

....

I think they missed this week's news that lack of EU workers in meat production means a likely shortage of pigs in blankets for Christmas. That crisis though would not be obvious till after a December election...

10,000 posts just to say we won you lost, btw bleating about sunlit uplands is a brexit speciality( lie ) been so many no wonder it got lost in the torrent..
Nope - that is simply untrue

It has been exclusively Remainers on here that have used that phrase as they look to make cheap points

They were elected on that very principle. To suddenly decide they were "against it", when the Conservative PArty ran on an "get brexit done" policy, would to be deceiving the voters who elected them (see 2017).

They were being held to their oath when they became MP's of this Conservative Government. That IS democracy, and it is also treating the electorate with respect.

Fuck me, are you completely incapable of thinking.

The WA as has been presented to Parliament did not exist pre election.

This is not democracy.

Come again?
I only ask because I've lost count of the number of times Boris said: Let's get Brexit done" and "We have an oven ready deal".

I and others commented months ago that if we end up with a no deal outcome - Corbyn will need to carry a lot of the blame
And not the idiot that's legislating to leave without a deal if we can't do a deal in a year? No Corbyn, no Brexit, but No Deal is a pure Tory thing.

Good luck to country. Let’s see how it goes - don’t come crying when the skint get skinter it the class sizes get bigger or your working rights get smaller

I’m sure Brexit will be good for some. Whether it will be good for those who think it’s going to be good, remains to be seen

But it wo t be their fault. It will be blamed on the EU - ‘intransigence’ was a word banded around 12 months ago, expect that to come back in 3-4 months time

The WA has been significantly changed from the version that was put before Parliament pre election.

Not for the better.

But the fools will carry on cheering
It's not the same Parliament. It's not the same WA.

Therefore it can be debated, it can be voted for or against. Why are you not getting this?
