Keir Starmer

I’ve never really took much notice of RBL , is she any good ? Any stand out principalities ?

She’s a younger Corbyn in a skirt, just without the IRA, Hamas, Hezbollah and Iranian TV.

I doubt the antisemitism will stop under her, though.

Some of us have said it since minute one.

RBL and Rayner.

Thanks for nothing Momentum, McCluskey and the NEC!

so without the IRA terrorist link

she wants more equality, a better NHS, end to homelessness etc , as that was the main bulk of Corbyn’s policy’s from what I saw.

Seriously mate, putting this woman in, if it happens, will mean the Labour party will fade rapidly, but how they
stop this certainty is now very difficult, the enormous membership will be overseeing a minority protest party,
about as relevant as the Greens.

A manifesto the IFS said was dreamland stuff, yes.

She called Corbyn and the last election campaign 10/10.

Frightening.

She rated Corbyn 10 out of 10 only the other week. That should tell you all you need to know about how bright she is, her lack of judgment and inability to read the political landscape

Also, in a world where image is everything, she certainly does not look like a future Prime Minister

Labour are absolutely fucked if she gets it but I think they’re fucked anyway, looking at the shortlist.

They're not policies, they're a wish list.

How you get these is where policies come in and people didn't believe Labour could deliver these with their manifesto.

For some reason, RLB thinks we'll believe them.next time.round.

Ok. I agree. Labour desperately need Keir Starmer for me.
He's a bit dull. Always looks like he doesn't want to be wherever he is and is reluctantly doing whatever he is doing. He's the Mark Lawrenson of politics. Probably the right choice to take the party more central but reckon he's not charismatic enough to win outright victory.

yes but remember no one is going to please - they will all get heavily criticised for something or another.

Lol, the penny doesn't need to drop with me mate, of course Brexit was a major factor, but to simply accept
that it was the only one is ridiculous. What happened to Labour in the three elections before all that, did they
win, or did I miss something?

Yes you did miss something Gordon Brown, (the bigot hater) Ed Milliband (the wonk) and Jeremy Corbyn (the nice bloke nobody liked because he wasn't cuntish enough to be PM). As I have said in numerous posts PM is in part a beauty pageant people like nice PR people with shiny faces and so called strong racist men but are really cowardly cunts. I know that you are desperately trying to nail my hat on with this socialism is dead crap but you really must try harder than just offering up your opinion that you thinks its dead.

The danger is he ends up doing an IDS. In effect he might end up like a younger, clean shaven Corbyn if his policies are pretty much the same and the soundbites everyone keeps hearing is the party's policies were okay, apart from the Brexit strategy, so it's likely that will happen. The party need to demonstrate clearly to the electorate that something fundamental has changed and they need someone dynamic for that. None of the candidates have that, unfortunately.

You see, you still don't get it do you, Corbyn, a nice bloke that nobody liked because he wasn't cuntish enough?
People like strong racist men that are cowardly cunts, lol, it's no good arguing the point anymore mate.
Anyway, Jezza's clone has just taken the lead on the rails, with Starmer fading, you'll get yet another pop
at realising the socialist paradise.

Members of cults don’t realIse they are in a cult fella they just think everyone else is simply misinformed. Even saying they are in a cult just adds to their narrative of our misunderstanding. Any year or decade or half century from now we will have finally seen sense and voted in the cult.

Starmer has a real policy problem. He thinks UK should remain in single market and customs union even after Brexit. The weakness of that position is that EU will determine a whole raft of British policy, but we will have no say in it. If he goes into the next election on that platform, Brexit will do for Labour in two elections running.
