All due respect mate but it's a public forum.

Unless serious rules are being broken I really don't see why certain discourse should be curtailed as long as it stays on topic

He can post what he wants and I’m allowed to tell him what he’s posting is unhelpful.

I’ve not told him not to post anything, just advice that he should let go the results of the last few years.

I’ve been one of the most argumentative remainers on this forum since 2016 and some leave voters still don’t like me for it but if there’s anything that’s been proven since 2016, it’s that the public still want Brexit and therefore we should talk about the future.

By all means try and argue subliminal messages from the electorate in the Euros and last GE but it’s false and not helpful.

No one who's still posting in this thread has let it go.

Why let it go that most Brits either really don't want to leave the EU or really weren't bothered? It's happening but don't pretend it's what most people want.

to be fair to banjani he has let it go. From a very passionate remainer to an accepter of democracy and the result and trying to focus on positives

you are still in the trenches fighting the war

More and more are letting it go.

Chippy, Ban Jani for starters and ive seen several other remainers saying its time to get on with it as remaining is never going too happen.

A trench in a war that ended years ago.

I was a remainer and I accepted the result after the referendum and I have tried to look to the positive things it might bring.

The Brexit argument has been lost by remainers on every single test, it just needs to happen.

Yeah you do
Ah the classic no u move

"take back control"
"brexit means brexit"
"will of the people"
"get brexit done"

And now our very own Bluemoon slogan

"let it go"

I suspect Ric would be bankrupt before long if that one gained any traction across the forums (fora???)

Add: "let's come together" in the coming weeks and months probably

Have word with the Labour party. According to most of them, their defeat was almost entirely* down to Brexit. Quite bizarre, all those millions voting for something they don't want.

(Entirely if you ask Richard Burgon. Not that anyone sane would ever seek his opinion on anything, but moving on...)

Hate it when remainers fight with each other.
Try Leavers on what sort of Brexit...

Mcfc1632 quoting some fanciful idea of leaving but rejoining in some new special "zone", and MB still batting for EFTA...

Aye, the electoral map now slathered in blue, all because of a Brexit that most didn't want.
It's an eye opener this place, must be why we love it so much ;)

Half of them have spent the last month saying the crushing defeat had nothing to do with Corbyn nor policies and was all about Brexit. Only to be told by the same camp that people don't want Brexit. I have to say it is all rather amusing.

Bong, bong.

After saying a fond, if reluctant, farewell to my extended Christmas and New Years break I return to find an almighty hoo-hah about Brexit bongs whilst the EU publish details on NI protocals in Belfast detailing that UK authorities are to implement EU rules on GB imports and carry out necessary checks and that this will be done under ECJ jurisdiction and EU reps have the right to be present and direct UK authorities to make these checks.

So whilst the EU make themselves at home (just don’t put your feet on the furniture lads) we get all dreamy over a bong.

Still, good to see we are focusing on the stuff that matters :)
