We don't need to adapt,we play our own game, this season, injuries and pigmol are the only difference to us
True. If we defended anything like last season were right up there. We’ve scored loads more than them. We just can’t defend and I put that down to vinny and Laporte not playing. We strengthen wisely at CB and we’re golden.

They have given up great chances last few games but none have been taken. Son and lo celso missed sitters for spurs. Martial blasted over from the 6 yard line. Doherty and jota tonight. It’s witchcraft i tells ya.
They have but to be fair but they’ve also missed many chances. Even tonight when not playing well Liverpool have missed some glorious chances. Have to take my hat off too them, a very very good side with everything.

We are gonna need some rebuilding to get back on terms with them I’m afraid . The best hope is that they have a burn out this season like we have had and also if they lose some important players that could derail them . Trouble with us is that we take one too many passes and try and walk it in which when it works is great but when it doesn’t annoys fuck out of me. Pep is gonna need to adapt next season because if we go into August with no plan b then we will struggle .

No chance of burn out with them..

Was desperate for them never to win it but once it was all over a couple months ago I can appreciate how good they are. Fair play.
They can’t maintain this for next season. City will be much stronger and same for likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs etc.

I was just saying only a few pages back they have the best chance conversion rate in the league by a mile, they aren't missing loads.

and Wolves.

They may be more clinical than most but United should have been put to bed the weekend before the Martial miss and tonight they missed some great chances. Salah especially and Firmino before he scored.

They are having one of those seasons. Same as we had. Great side no denying but when we all start at 0 in August all the aura will be gone and they will have the bullseye we’ve had for 24 months.

Yeah, you can pick the odd game but that was a sweeping statement. Look how much more of their chances they've put away this season, it's remarkable(luck has to come into it too):

50.5% before tonight. 46.2% after this game. The league average is 26,6 %, 2nd place is around 10% behind them.

So painful this season but we need to suck it up and get back to mounting a challenge next season... sadly I don’t see us progressing in the UCL but I’d be really happy to be proven wrong

well it was the last two games so that’s what I’m picking. When you go on this sort of run which hasn’t ever happened before from the start of a season there will always be luck. Any team, any division, any cup that’s won there is always luck. However this will be mixed with many great things like when City have won it. I love the Premier League and it’s wonderful to see so many world class players playing at the top of there game. This season Liverpool have been a machine and credit where credit is due like it was when you’ve won it and others before.

They’re one of the best teams in the world but I doubt they will ever have such an absurd amount of good fortune in a season again.

11 of their 22 victories have been by just the one goal.

Expected goals comparison from the Wolves game. It's right to say Wolves were wasteful.

Didn’t Mancini kick him out?
If he did then didn't we also have a bad injury record or was that with the replacement that Mankers brought in?

Of course is it genius but why did he want to leave? Better pay, new challenge? Dipper as a kid? I’d be interested to hear the reason

Sense of humour required, fuck me it was just a quip, tetchy ****.
