Nope. Here's where you insinuate:

And it's not standard practice to give your number two every cup game, as I've already said.
But it has been the case with Guardiola and was also the case with Pellegrini and even in the final couple of years for Mancini.

Indeed there was something of a furore when Mancini broke this understanding by putting Hart in goals in the Cup Final against Wigan rather than Pantilimon who had played in every previous match. And guess what happened? Joe Hart was beaten by a lob that Pantilimon would have plucked out of the air with ease.

I also recall Liverpool fans scoffing when Pellegrini put Caballero in for the 2016 EFL Cup Final. Caballero won the cup for City in the penalty shoot out with three saves.

City will be looking for a replacement for Bravo and I am sure that appearing as first choice in the domestic cups with be a part if the deal negotiated. What message would it send out if Claudio Bravo was replaced for a home match against Fulham (or more likely Fulham reserves)?

I know that will not convince the boneheads on here but that’s the way it will be.

Well bloody hell if we don't win this at home we may as well fucking give up.

I'm sure Otamendi, Gundogan and Jesus will make it harder than it should be but despite poor finishing, slow build up and VAR we should still have more than enough to get the job done.

Just no complacency!

We lost to Wigan. More than once. These are better than Wigan. As you say, no complacency. Treat them seriously, and we should go through with something to spare.

Bravo should keep his place , he takes a lot of shit on this forum and some of it is justified , he gets criticised when every shot appears to end in a goal , but has anyone looked at Ederson's recent record , we face two or three shots and he also has conceded goals , Ederson is a far superior keeper to Bravo but why Bravo gets so much shit when Ederson has done exactly the same it baffles me.
Maybe Bravo replacing a crowd favourite in Joe Hart has something to do with it , i wasnt happy the way Hart was treated and Bravo was absolutley rubbish in his 1st season , but he's a capable number two , an interantional with over a hundred caps , he' s no mug and should play in all the cup games including any finals we might qualify for.
Any way he will have f*ck all to do on Sunday , Fulham will play a second string team because promotion is far more important for them , 3-0 and Foden MofM will do for me.
