I'm a very considerate person.
Nice of you to recognise it.
No one could ever accuse you of being an uncaring **** ;-)

Better to be in vassalage to the federation than running it eh?To get out of the totalitarian slide from a trading block, to a federation with all the trappings of a state.
The Spectator's Choice.
The man who unlawfully shut down Parliament is Parliamentarian of the year.
In other awards Minister to Watch is Michael Gove (in case he stabs you in the back). If we don't extend transition maybe he'll suddenly remember again:
"We didn’t vote to leave without a deal. That wasn’t the message of the campaign I helped lead. During that campaign, we said we should do a deal with the EU and be part of the network of free trade deals that covers all Europe, from Iceland to Turkey."
Again, Trump is not America.
All Presidents in the US are elected.I didnt mean Trump..... I meant any future American President ...
We were running fuck all. If the EU were a little more honest I'd actually be in favour of it.Better to be in vassalage to the federation than running it eh?

I think you'd find if you actually looked into it that we had significant influence in every area of EU policy and it worked very well for us. Now we have none and will have to do as we're told if we want to carry on as we were like we both think will happen. We were running fuck all. If the EU were a little more honest I'd actually be in favour of it.
"But we had a say!" I always love that line. :)We were running fuck all. If the EU were a little more honest I'd actually be in favour of it.
Look it up. It's not difficult."But we had a say!" I always love that line. :)
If anyone can show me which policies the UK were against that the EU listened to and agreed should be halted, i'm all ears.
I'm lazy, you do it for me.Look it up. It's not difficult.
Straight bananas.I'm lazy, you do it for me.
Straight bananas.
Trading bloc - yes please.I think you'd find if you actually looked into it that we had significant influence in every area of EU policy and it worked very well for us. Now we have none and will have to do as we're told if we want to carry on as we were like we both think will happen.
Because we stopped it.I've never bought or eaten a straight banana yet?
That's just it though there is a point, because the amount of integration and the closeness of our alignment to EU rules is still all up for dicussion.I suppose we could argue about this all day, but there is now no point as it is already settled and we are out on Friday. About time.
It's just your opinion that we would have been part of federal state. As it stands and if the government are lying like we both think they are, we will simply end up being a rule taker from that entity whatever it ends up being. If you're happy with that, fine, but there's no need to pretend that we'll have some new found independence and sovereignty.Trading bloc - yes please.
Federal state - no thank you.
If we can't have one without the other, the that says it all really and regretfully we may have to settle for neither. That's it for me and I suspect many others. Jobs, immigration, money on the side of a bus, and the rest of the hysteria are just distractions from that basic issue. I suppose we could argue about this all day, but there is now no point as it is already settled and we are out on Friday. About time.
