Irritates me when I see articles on Scottish whisky spelt with an "E" Whiskey). Or even worse when Welsh, Irish, Yankee and others are spelt without "E". Not allowed!
Out on his arse with a bottle of Buckfast, I'd imagine.Where's that magic pole guy ?

For something slightly different ,Glenmorangie Lasanta, smooth but plenty of flavour

Drinking gin is a lot less confusing.
Not well up on scotch and am not overly a fan of the smokey, peaty flavour. One word:

However my godson got me a selection for Christmas and there was an excellent single malt Speyside in there.
Very smooth. Really enjoyed it.
I've just polished off a bottle, that I got for Christmas.Had a glass of that welsh one
Christ I don’t know. Was the Christmas before the one just gone. What was it called?
I’ve always found most of AnCnoc’s offerings to be very medicinal but I haven’t tried the 18Y — worth a go, even given my preferences?AnCnoc 18yr. from Knockando.
Its a Speyside, it's strong but smooth as silk. Only ever had a couple of bottles, as it's right at the top end of what I will pay, but I do find it very agreeable indeed.I’ve always found most of AnCnoc’s offerings to be very medicinal but I haven’t tried the 18Y — worth a go, even given my preferences?
