Well I hope it’s called off. Now checking out of the Great John Street Hotel to head back to Lancaster as my sister has just told me my dad passed away an hour ago.

feel very weird and about to head back up the m6 in this weather.
Christ, shit news that. Football is a,very, very distant second to family.

Wasn't monchengladbach called.off because the areas outside the turnstiles don't drain well and so had standing water deemed dangerous, south stand concourse is always full of water when it pisses down.
It was but the rain was far worse than this, I’ve never seen anything like it. I was in Summerbees and every time I had a couple of gulps of beer the fucking glass filled up again.

Safety meeting started at 10am, so we'll know soon enough.
IMO delaying the KO by 3 hours would be sensible. But Sky won't like that and staff availability would probably be an issue.

National rail enquiries mate.
Also said it on trainline
Propaganda from the empty seat rag brigade on here !

Not from me mate! I travel to every home game from Hazel Grove and I was just checking the train times to see how long they were taking? I did a live tracker on Trainline and that’s what it said. Just reporting what it said. I don’t want people to be put off going that’s all. bit at the end of the day it’s each individuals choice.

I do feel for fans that have to travel from further afield though!

Sincere condolences SWP. Safe journey home.

It is looking like we will miss the match. The TPE trains from Edinburgh to Manchester have all been cancelled. We were supposed to be on the 10:51 to Birmingham changing at Preston. First I had notification that it would only go to Preston. Now it appears to be terminating at Carlisle. There seem to be no trains north of Preston until further notice.

So it will be back to the house to watch the match on TV assuming it is still going ahead?

Mrs Vienna's daughter wouldn’t like it either, as we’re bringing the grandson and he has school tomorrow!

At least I won’t be pissed off over a VAR decision today. They can post-pone it indefinitely if they want, do us all a favour.

Fuck sake this safety meeting was apparently at 10am, how long does it take to decide.

Is the weather shite Y/N?
Is traveling to the ground unsafe Y/N?
Shall we call it off Y/N?

Should take no more than 5 minutes to decide
