It resonated particularly well with the younger generation. They ran a very good social media campaign which the other two dinosaurs didn’t exploit.
For those either jovially or perhaps seriously suggesting that this is some sort of IRA sympathising vote, you are way wide of the mark.

Health services totally overstretched to breaking point.
The younger generation don’t know SF’s history and don’t care.
There is a big pressure going to come on SF and Mary Lou now, that they don’t piss this advantage away.
Haven’t a clue what it’ll mean to the country in the end.
